Kevinswatch Anthology 2023

Still no explanation about what it actually is, though....
Which makes me want it back even more.
Well played. :D

The Acolyte

Not interested.
Disney Star Wars, except for a few small exceptions has been utterly disappointing to me.
I'll wait for good word of mouth before giving anything a look and the Rotten Tomatoes Audience score on the Acolyte is 14%!! 8O

I thought about Rusmeister today because it's Chesterton's birthday.
Yeah, "Incessant" was an understatement. :D :-x

I like to say "Hellfire!" occasionally to get a smile or two.

Fatal Musings: Epic Vision

Wow, that essay was fantastic! Thanks. I like reading whatever SRD has to say. It also had an unexpected and wonderful quick dive into Tolkien's works. I think I'm going to give The Riddle-Master of Hed a read now as well. And, as always, Donaldson used a phrase I had never heard of and had to look ...

What fantasy/science fiction book are you reading RIGHT NOW?

I just started the Harry Potter series again for the seventh or eighth time. :D This time with a new (for me) illustrated version by Jim Kay. To me, he really captures how I imagine that world to look like. https://www.frugallivingnw.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/harry-potter-illustrated-book-deal....

Always good to see you around. I find I can no longer watch TOS. :D --A Really? I'm curious, why? I downloaded both the remastered and original graphics 3 seasons. Sometimes I'm in the mood for the old style stuff but I prefer the remastered. Everything is crisp and the colors are nice. It's fun to...

Yeah, it doesn't really match the story too well. Lightning and the Krill is visible? I welcome and support all art though so thanks for sharing it with us, santilozano. Av, Mhoram was on his horse initially. Here's the passage: In the last distance, Warmark Quaan shouted an order, and the riders br...

Godzilla Minus One

It was awesome! It's gone in a week so don't miss it. Godzilla looked great and the sound was amazing. I saw it in RPX. The story was great. I really cared about the human characters. There were moments when it's kind of a horror movie. Going to see it again tomorrow. Saw the trailer for the America...

Guess the Next Poster volume two...

Hello there. :D I made those same battleship models and then learned that the model glue burns really easy and gives off black smoke and looks like battle damage. Oh boy! Those were some epic Star Blazers battles in my imagination. Tanks were tough to make. I didn't like them. Sarge, since...

Important item in 2nd Chronicles - spoilers

Interesting story regarding the creation of the second staff.
Donaldson thought one aspect or ingredient was obvious that many (ok, maybe just me) didn't pick up on.
This was revealed in between the 2nd and 3rd Chronicles.
