During a time in The Forever War, all the people were queer including some main characters.

Gateway had a semi main character switch-hitting.

You know I'm not sure that any of those places really made me want to go there, they all were so grim it seems. I suppose I'll go with the Lab.

The Forever War was a very satisfying book for me & I'd recommend this book to any sci-fi nut. I am now onto the Heechee Saga starting with Gateway by Fred Pohl.

I just abandoned Mordant's Need and started The Forever War by Joe Haldeman.

I have been trying to think why I liked the the Gap better than the Chronicles and I think its simply because the Gap is more realistic & believable. I may have just tapped my hidden appreciation for sci-fi.
