what's in a name? A Giant would have a lot to say about that

I decided I wanted something of my own as well as include two or more characters mixed in. Thus; Khatalenabwraith, White Gold Wielder::
This is as close as I can get to who I am.

the size of Avatars...

I was trying to steer away from that perception --
my forum etiquette deems that I should watch my vocabulary lest my thoughts indicate my true self.

However know this - those large well crafted avatars are kind to the eyes -

Matrixman - since I did not use the full quote I never thought about it as a spoiler. [but just fixed that] It is a part of my favorite quote from the book -- it fit so well in the way I was thinking. Feels like my own special theme for a book long waited. Oh I am glad that I can create a larger Av...

Big Beautiful Edgetars

What I do not understand is when we register we can only have avatars that are 100 x 100 pixels and no more than 10 kb --- What must be done so we can all have big avatars?

They do look nice and that is coming from someone who sees.

When will book two TLCOTC be available?

On the Gradual Interview in November at www.stephenrdonaldson.com SRD replied: ... Expect "Fatal Revenant" late in 2007, hope to see it late in 2006. I only found it because I too look forward to Fatal Revenant (most assuredly)! I am re-reading the 1st & 2nd COTC to pass the time...

From the desk of Lord Foul: You see, when the powers of a Lemony Snicket Forum and a Terry Goodperson Shannara Forum combine, the Arch of Time breaks. Yes, no, maybe? Kevin's Dirt

It's on page 135 of Runes of the Earth, while Linden is receiving Stave's "Earthpower" lecture. His answer had the finality of a knell. "We name it so because we deem it to be a foretaste of desecration. It's pall covers the Land in preperation". This is the LAST Chronicles - I ...

Shadout Mapes ~ Mahdoubt

I thought I was alone in my thoughts about the Mahdoubt. I find it surprising that SRD planned it that way - maybe to give us a kick in our memory centers of our brains? I also think of the forestals, giant lore, or hidden powers cloaked in a multitude of colors. She may be more or she maybe just od...

struck white gold but want more!

I was so glad that SRD went to the trouble to remind us about the Land and its lore. I didn't know I missed it so much until I began and finished this fantastic book. I do feel I need to reread the the first 2 Chronicles as some things I just don't remember and some things I need to remember more. M...

A newbie to Kevin's Watch

Hello and greetings! I am glad to have read Runes. I didn't know how much I missed the Land until I was finished and now am hungry for more. . . Good thing 2 or 3 years isn't like Land time!
