I loved the way he applied quantum theory to just about everything, and how humbled he felt in front of Dios. In a way I think he was the only character who fully understood Dios in the end.

She is (in the credits), and that actually bothered me a bit. Heh. OK, I know, it's not so important. Anyway, I don't think a Covenant movie would be a good idea.

Hashi Lebwohl

I think that Hashi is the one of the best characters ever created, and certainly the most fascinating character in The Gap. Sure, I also loved Vector, Dios and Angus, and a lot of other characters too, but Hashi is just ... brilliant. I don't know why some people hate him ... he really is a good guy...

Yes ... but I think it's part of something Donaldson is trying to say with the books. As if Foul is the incarnation of the evil within Covenant ... or something like that.

Yes, but Foul is also a part of Covenant, just like the Land itself, and Covenant is dead ... but then again, we don't know how dead he is... :)

Personally I believe that it's not possible to film the Chronicles without losing the depth. Sure, you could show all the neat fantasty stuff, but that's not what they're about. How can you put the philosophical part of the books into a movie?
