Alan Dean Foster: Fan of music, fantasy, and illicit drugs.

Have any of you ever read Alan Dean Foster's classic Spellsinger series? It's actually quite a read in my opinion; pre-law student Jonathan Merriweather is kidnapped by Clothahump, a turtle wizard, so that he can help save their world from the Plated Folk, giant insects with Nazi-esque attitudes tow...

I used to be hopelessly addicted to Xanth back in my middle school days. In fact, thanks to Piers Anthony's work, I was the top-rated point-gatherer in the school since every book we read earned us a number of points that went towards rewards. However, as the years went by and I read more and more, ...

I tend to agree with the idea that SRD's a bit more highbrow than the average Xanth-esque crowd; his stories evoke more thought, more feeling, and more introspection than any other series I've ever read. I've seen everything from religious references to deep looks into the author's very soul. I come...

I may be new here myself, but I offer to you my humblest of welcomes. From the looks of things here, we'll have no trouble corrupti- erm, what I mean to say is that I'm sure we'll both enjoy our time here greatly. And when the master breaks free of this accursed Arch, we'll get to ravage th- ...can ...

*Bows.*
You honor me with your gifts of welcome, kind hosts. I assure you that I'll not bring corruption upon this place.

What, this? It's... kryptonite. Yes. I have a fear of men in blue tights.

This concept is so cool that my brain just broke. I'm a huge, HUGE game-geek, and the thought of a playable Thomas Covenant Chronicles game makes me giddy like a schoolgirl.

Covenant: It's a trick! Dammit, can't you understand that Foul wants you to believe that? Hell and blood! He...

The Doomgates have been opened! The demon has been released!

Hello, all! I've been an avid reader of the first and second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant for roughly fours years now, and suffice it to say that I am glad to find that there's a place on the internet where I can learn more about Stephen Donaldson' crowning work from other fans. I've been a geek fo...
