I don't understand how the ending can diminish an entire story. The ending was perfect, it couldn't have gone any other way and made sense. Yeah, I agree with that. I mean, there are some details about the ending that I didn't like but on the whole I loved it. It just seems that a lot of people who...

Opinions on the Dark Tower ending..
WARNING: If you haven't read through to the complete end of DT-7 you may find spoilers here... Okay, so I know that King's ending to the series is notorious for being either loved or hated. I've been reading the DT series agin (for about the 5th time) and recently saw in the Gradual Interview where ...

For me it would have to be Sword of Truth 6: Faith of the Fallen. Okay, so I bought the first 6 books as a box set, and would go so far as to say that the first 4 books aren't really that bad. In fact I love Wizard's First Rule. But I saw the writing on the wall with book 5, just 400+ ...

My first was Peter Frampton and Lynyrd Skynyrd in '98 @ the Nissan Pavillion in Bristow, VA. Frampton rawk'd! I thought he came alive. Ya know, I wasn't expecting much (I'd only heard the radio hits) but was really blown away, Frampton can really get down. Same thing with Charlie Daniels Band...I s...

1- Ninja Gaiden (NES) This game will NEVER come off the #1 position. 2- Castlevania II (NES) Played this one forever and ever, I never got tired of this game. 3- Ms. Pac Man (Atari) What can I say? It's a classic! 4- Colosseum: Road to Freedom (PS2) Battle to gain your freedom. Very overlooked game ...

Dreamcatcher
My wife got Dreamcatcher for me for christmas (we both loved the movie.) So anyways, I've checked out the Dark Tower site where it has that "web" that shows the other King workes and where they tie in to DT. Well, for Dreamcatcher it states a comment by Mr. Gray referring to the Wolves of ...

I personally have enjoyed all of the Chrons so far. None of the books are the same, and who really wants to read the same basic formula over and over again (see: Terry Goodkind)? Fatal Revenant stands apart from every other book of The Chrons. The pacing is entirely new to the series and IMO further...

So we started with five words, but they were called seven. Then we had six words, which were also called seven. And now we finally have seven words. Linden lived for ten years (sorry, I forget how many exactly) between book six and book seven, so if YOU can remember some really odd words for that l...

And now for something completely different...
Okay, I'm just starting this thread for fun... I thought it'd be fun if we could think of small observations about The Chrons that...well that we could make fun of or laugh about. For instance: Anyone ever notice that NO ONE in The Land (outisders included) EVER has to "go" to the restroom...

YES!! As amazing as DG and HoC are, and I guess I'm a bit unusual in liking GotM as much as I do (even more in retrospect than on first reading) - MoI is my favorite of the first four. Simply stunning, cover to cover!! :D :D :D I really, really liked GotM. I could read about the Phoenix Inn regular...

I just finished this book yesterday. I loved every page of it! So far , for me anyway, it's the strongest book of the series. It's been a while since a book was able to dig it's claws in me deep, but this one did it big-time! At the end I didn't know whether to cry or smile or what. Just total awsom...
