I will say the ROTE wasn't quite what I expected. But from the other side of the fence, it is setting up 3 other books to finish a story, so I am hopeful. I am thinking if TC made a larger appearance, it might have scored better from me.

Bannor questioned TC's behavior, not in words, but with caution that he took in regards to TC'sactions. On the other hand, Brinn was saved by TC from the clave, and that made Brinn more "human" by showing they had limitations. I will avoid the implications that come out in Runes, but take ...

he'd probably wet his pants when he met a raver...LOL
Then again, IF Lytton were taken to the land, and he still had his gun, well, Im sure Foul would have a new best friend. Its easier to copy technology (if you wanna call guns technology) than it is to create it.

I dont think any of us are in a hurry to get to the end, so it will be interesting when we get there. I'm just glad it wont have that "Harry Potter" ending. That would have been a MAJOR killjoy.

yeah..she forgot the basics or something. Before she could use the ring with little effort, now its way beyond her it seems like. I think she needs to improve if she is going to be effective against LF

When Linden became a topic at the beginning of the first series, someone typed BURRRNNN HERRRRRR...(name omitted for safetys sakes)...any change of heart? I hope not, cuz I say BURNNNN HERRRR ANYWAY! And now a gratuitous slam: Lazy whiner, crying, B*tchy, overly useless 'I dont know how' complainer ...

Relayer and then Fist and Faith made a very good point- I did just step in line of thinking about them like the long deprived bloodgaurd(mabey SDR did too- I know, that's blasphemy) but I think the merewives must have been intentionally targeting the haurachi . Oh they went after all ships passing ...

Sorry folks, I have to disagree here though I have read many good points. I really dont think the past can have total influence over the present. You can remember the past, and avoid making the same mistakes, but I think it comes back to what TC said in TOT to Linden about if he destroys the land, i...
