There are still croyel in the world, as well as the Lurker (I doubt he's really a good guy now.) The Worm destroyed the world. Covenant/Linden/Jeremiah rebuilt/restored it. But there was no exposition of how they did it. Is it possible that they recreated the world without croyel (and other things)?

Re: B*tch slapped!! (spoilers)

Without going back to the chrons to look for supporting material, I somehow had the impression that it was their telepathic link, and not so much the Vow, that allowed the Haruchai to get by with little or no sleep. I disagree. Bannor clealy pointed out that he could no longer do without sleep in T...

Lord Foul? Foul was a major player in bringing Covenant to the land, and sent Covenant to Revelstone with a message. So Foul had a need for Covenant to be able to communicate in The Land.Zarathustra wrote:If Covenant can only speak their language by an act of magical intervention, who gave him this gift?

"his power waned"
When Foul is talking to Covenant about Kevin, he says "When his armies faltered and his power waned, he lost himself in despair..." Do you think "his power waned" is a general statement about Foul gaining the upper hand in the war, or is it a statement about Kevin specifically? C...

We haven't seen the whole world
Interesting to think that there may be a colony of folk somewhere outside the land that have at least some of the old lore.

I was brief in my last post because I hadn't coalesced my thoughts about this... so let me give it another go. Kevin had everything, and his responsibility for it all led him to the Ritual. By offering to give up everything, Covenant is expressing that he has nothing. By having nothing, Covenant is ...

Anger
Don't forget the taunting that Flesharrower received. He was mad. He was furious. He was raving. At that point, all he wanted was to destroy the fools in front of him. The question is, why didn't Foul stop him?
