the Mist is my favorite short story. I took Julie to the movie version and she got angry at me for the ending. Explained it was not the ending from the story. But it was a better ending. King agrees. Love the expanded Stand. Love everything about It. Minus the ending with the kid orgy. Love Salem's ...

Salem's Lot

Much credit to my parents, esp my mom. It was her King novel. They never discouraged me from reading anything. I had a subscription to ...

About six months til retirement. Going to my various doctors to see if I need surgery on anything.
Shoulders (rotator cuffs) were cleared. Needed shots but surgery not needed.

I haven't built a model since I was a kid. Loved doing world War II stuff. Tanks and ships. Maybe a jeep? I'm asking for one for Christmas.
I remember making a Superman model. He was busting thru a wall.

Dang. We enjoy Agatha stories so much. Have gone back and watched some from the past. The first Agatha I ever read was in Boy Scout camp. I was the weird kid who read, surprise. It was And Then There Were None. Still my favorite. Also read Connecticut Yankee that summer in camp. They had a small lib...

I've listened to Redux a few times now. I think I'm forming the opinion that this is a masterwork - the culmination of Roger Waters' style over the decades. I was walking to work the other day listening to it, and I couldn't stop the emotion rising while listening to it. I love the introduction whi...
