After AC The Gap Should Sure Be Doable...
The recent release of Altered Carbon (which I enjoyed a lot) on Netflix (https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2018/feb/01/altered-carbon-review-ambitious-netflix-sci-fi-is-flashy-flawed-and-fun?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Google%2B) makes me feel slightly hopeful that one day a similar network decides ...

I have just finished it, and join i the hope that the story will unfold in the coming volumes - I hope that now that we have been informed about how big the world outside Belleger and Amika is, we actually get to see at least some of that. I don't mind that Bifalt is not very likeable - I felt the s...

I think there were a number of factors contributing to Mayhew's ignorance about chrism. In order to maintain peaceful prosperity 'looking into the past' was quietly discouraged, and not really practised - remember what a revelation it was to Inimica when she found out that one of the barons (Panderm...

While there may be no point in continuing the main storyline, stories that happen in the same universe could be attractive: a nicely embellished story of the Brathair's struggle with the Sandgorgons, Kasreyn's life story, a story that takes place in the Haruchai country in the Westron range etc. Or ...

Just to expand on my thought... Troy's blindness offers some of the same themes as Covenant's leprosy, both in their own everyday physical challenges, and in the ways that others react to them. I don't think people's reactions would be quite the same. Having no eyes is shocking at first, but eventu...

I think Amok himself wasn't that different from the written Wards - his utterings were as difficult to interpret as the written ones must have been. I've always envisaged the Wards been written in a sort of Nostradamus prophecy-like verses; having a meaning on the surface, but damned difficult to de...

I really do think that the First Chronicles contain many-many very cinematic events that make them eminently suitable for filming. The siege of Revelstone, Lord Shetra's and Hyrim's quest, Foamfollower and Covenant at Hotash Slay, the battle at Doriendor Korishev, so many opportunities. As for all t...

I agree Daughter could be a good movie. Also Mordant's Need. If I were to do a Covenant series, though, I still think 2nd Chrons would be a more natural start. A little prologue, and a few flashbacks, would be enough background for almost most viewers (except maybe the THOOLAH crowd. ;) ). No, no, ...

Linden's growth is there, too. She rouses the Worm, and has to find a way to deal with the consequences without writing herself off. And what she learns about herself she passes on to Jeremiah, who needs this to maintain his courage and convictions in the short time he has to grow up. This is a bit...
