Thin story (not a thinny!) Simple premise, and a predictable end. I did like the concept of a stakblast, tho. It could have been a story placed anywhere (and maybe it originally was), and bolted onto the DT series...

Made in beautiful New Zealand, however, is a redeeming feature !!

If you haven't, come and visit "Gods own country".

My 11 year old loved it, and the second season was cut half way through because ( I hear from someone who worked on it) they ran out of money.

I got to about book seven, and was so frustrated with the intrigues within intrigues, and felling lost, and characters showing up who I could not quite remember their context and the 12 year old women all over the place (why can't so many fantasy authors write about adult relationships ??) Energy to...

Yes, read this, another weak ending, and quite simply, no characters that were worth a mention (except the 3 teenagers) - But no empathy with any character(s), including the super hero - I think he missed the real horror story, which was to enable those under the dome to survive (ie the dome self pe...

Tena koe from New Zealand Theomach Welcome to the Watch. King in no way equals the emotional intensity of Donaldson (perhaps the closest is Wizard and Glass). I didn't see many similarities. I for one liked the Drawing of the Three the best. But, for example, when the ka tet is on the Monorail, I wa...

I seen Stave as LF's route to the Haruachi. I think Liand will be, like Sunder, a new type of Lord. Not only that, he'll marry Pahni, and the wedding celebrant will be our mate Thomas... The wedding will enable a new home for the White Gold ring (Pahni's finger), and ... On second thoughts, Liand w...
