What fantasy/science fiction book are you reading RIGHT NOW?

Just finished Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer. Didn’t like thi first third of it but it gradually grew on me! Haven’t decided if I’ll read the rest of the Southern Reach books.. will probably finish Killing God first.

100h into elden ring and been living it so far.
Also started on Valheim a couple of weeks ago. Awesome game that is very addictive!

Finished gardens of the moon and started on Hyperion by Dan Simmons. I’m probably give the 2nd malazan a chance but didn’t really like gotm.

Was very sad to find out it’s been canceled. Hopefully it will be picked up by some other network or perhaps the author will resolve all the loose ends in some other form.. perhaps a book or comic?

agree about episode 8 but it was funny in a way. initially dr m'benga reminded me of albert hoffman on the famous bicycle trip after he mixed stuff in his lab.

I'm struggling a little with GOTM. I kinda enjoyed the start but at this point ( chapter 10 ) I just don't feel anything for any of the characters. Pretty close to dropping it but will probably hang in there a little.

Currently reading Mike Shel - “aching god� after looking for something with similar atmosphere as elden ring :) pretty good so far. Fairly easy read and short chapters.
