One other thing that is another pointer to the R + L =J theory is one of the visions that Dany has in the Houses of the UNdying in Quarth. She sees a blue flower blooming in a wall of ice.

Blue flowers are mentioned in conjunction with Ned's memories of his sister. Jon is at The Wall.

I don't see any posts mentioning this, but there are is some information floating around from the next volume in the series. GRRM has already released a spoiler chapter on his blog site, featuring Theon and he has done a couple of readings as well at conventions from chapters from the PoVs of Ariann...

I assumed, after reading chapter 1, that it is a throwaway reference, just like the "rods of the five wizards" reference in Saruman's rant against Gandalf.

In other words, it's a reference to something that we will never see, and is irrelevant to the main storyline of the Chronicles.

Did anyone else notice that the phrase "Shall/should pass utterly" was actually used in Fatal Revenant? Can't recall when and where, but I know I read it in threre somewhere! I may also have seen "all things ending" in there as well.
