See, I didn't think it was out of character at all. Time and again it's been shown that Sheppard will do anything to protect his people, even if it means letting other people die. I see it as just another bit of character development - the cool-and-casual guy who's really kind of a cold-hearted bast...

What's scary is that "also bought" list under the tank is the same as under the rabbit. Somewhere out there is an individual who owns not only a tank, but also a rabbit carcass, an anal douch, a g-string and a DVD of Smallville. Way at the bottom of a list I saw a CD of music by William Sh...

Uranium ore. A tank. A bulldozer. A toilet monster. A Grand Unified Field Theory Equation Journal Diary. Pierced, attachable nipples. A Deer Rear. An inflatable party sheep. I am not making this up.

I guess I'm a fanboi :) Don't worry, you're allowed. :D The only reason I watch Atlantis is for the John/Rodney (inter)action. The acting is pretty good in most cases, but the writing sucks. Murrin, you should watch "Miller's Crossing" if you have the time. A mediocre episode for the most...

There were a few seasons of SG1 that were very good. But the newest season of SG1 kinda did suck. Same thing that happened to the X-Files - too much of a good thing. Also, Firefly and most of Farscape were pretty spectacular - better than BSG. :P Not just one movie, but two, straight-to-DVD. It's a ...

Anybody getting a serious "Raiders of the Lost Ark" feel for this upcoming Stargate movie? Have we run out of original plots or what?

Star Trek: TNG Episode Guide - The Song

Yes, a TNG episode guide as a song. It's actually pretty wicked. Made me nostalgic.

Actually, some alien scientist on some planet far, far away, pushed the wrong button a million years ago, and we're just now seeing the results. Wait another million years, and you'll hear him say "Oops."

I liked Beauty and the Beast, Greatest American Hero, The Fall Guy and (goddess help me) the occasional rerun of Manimal (but yeah, maybe it was kinda cracked). I remember Automan, too. Thank you, TV Land and SciFi Channel, for filling my college mornings with really bad retro tv. Don't see why you'...

I'm not sure if people have a right to request their own labels. What do you base this on, particularly in light of your assertion that conservatives mean to protect individual rights, and you yourself are rather conservative? Isn't it my individual right to not be labeled and lumped into a group? ...

Actually, Joe said to me at the dinner (when I gave him a book of all the manips I'd done of SGA & him as Han Solo, Anakin Skywalker, Mr Fantastic etc) - "we should do an episode of Atlantis titled "John & Rodney's Excellent Adventure" (after he saw a manip I did based on Bil...

Re: Wow. Now we're talk'n!

Chapter 3 of FR was single handedly better than all of Runes. Drunk Covenant + Linden Bashing = Fun for the whole family! Oh, and the story is finally starting to get interesting. Anyway, back to avoiding this forum. I don't want to run accross any spoilers.-jay Okay, now I'm genuinely interested. ...

LOL, that sounds awesome! Glad you had a good time. :D Did you put in a good word for SRD? Spread the joy of THOOLAH? And OMG, why does everybody keep calling Joe. F. "The Flan?" All I can think about when I see that is custard, and I despise custard. Nasty, squishy, yellow, yuck. An...

Okay, I take back anything I said about originality. I thinke every episode so far has had a major reference to or rip-off from SG1. Also, what is with this new obsession with the gruesome? "Reunion" was bloodier than average, and there's a bit in "Doppleganger" that it made me c...

This thing really trips me out. It's always spinning counterclockwise when I first look at it, but with a little concentration and eye-shifting I can usually make it not only spin in the opposite direction, but "dance" a half spin to either side, back and forth. This is, apparently, my acc...

www.aintitcool.com/node/34463 Confirmed Karl Urban is Dr. McCoy. I think that is the last of them. The cast seems set. Now all they have to do is the exact opposite of what E.L. seems to think the film will be like. Or not. Damn. I was hoping it would be Paul McGillion from SGA... Then I'd have a l...

I think you're really exaggerating the "slippery slope" potential of this. Are you saying, too, that we should disband communes because a bunch of free-minded liberals decided they wanted to live away from society, by choice ? I have no sympathy for sex offenders, unless what they did was ...

Where are you taking Czech? I'm thinking about picking it up, but I don't know of any school around here that does it.

Went riding this weekend, like every other. Know I rode hard on Sunday, though, 'cause my back is sore. Haven't galloped that hard in years.
