German translation "Die Rückkehr des Zweiflers"

As my friend bought the german translation of FT, I read this version also (I read the original three or four times since its publication). And I was shoked by the translation. Full of wrong sense, typing mistakes, wrong words, sometimes "only" a bad choice of twords (I never thought TCTC ...

´til now: only Hami (but once or twice each week)
No wonder, she lives near (about one hour drive) and has her horse standing here.
And nearly all you girls/guys live on the other side of the world, so I don´t think this list will change much.........

Like every year we will meet with some friends, have a great raclette-eating, a quiet evening (me trying to stay awake till midnight, most time without success). At midnight we walk to the stable, congratulate the horses ´cause it´s their official birthday in northern hemisphere, have some champagne...

Hate it. To elabourate: It looks like he has watched Lord Of the Rings and drawn Christopher Lee. I actually hate it. The more i see it, the less i want to read the book. Seems so. :( I don´t like it either - hoping for a better one for the english version. But Warmark: as long as you read the book...

He wrote the one that turned up on Amazon.co.uk so I assume he wrote this one as well. Okay, that´s a very interesting point. Covenant turning in Foul: TC told that he is just one side of Foul (or otherwise). Perhaps TC must became Foul, so that there will be a fusion of both sides, and so that the...

Hm, very interesting. 8O
But how serious are those previews from amazon? How much can they know?
It seems that they have knowledge of the three coming (and eagerly awaited) books. But would SRD tell them so much (is there even so much written, planned?)

Re: Bannor and the Ramen

I don't remember the specifics, bit when Covenant met Bannor after he had started ageing and needing food, sleep etc, Bannor was helping the Ramen tend the Ranyhyn right? But, as if Bannor wasn't just there for the hot Ramen chicks. There is a passage in Lord Fouls Bane (i can't remember it specifi...

Astronomers are confident that even with the naked eye stargazers will be treated to dramatic views of the eclipse, which will be at its height from 10.24pm to 11.58pm. Dammit! Exactly the times of Match of the Day tonight! But the sky IS clear so a little bit of football may have to be sacrificed!...
