That's correct, there were some issues with putting it together, for example, page 177 would only scan properly if I scanned it on the wrong side of the scanner. I have no idea why, I scanned it a dozen times with the same result. Not sure why the images go out of sync like that either, it's kinda a...

PSA If your PDF viewer supports it, use two page view to get the most out of this download. I can 100% agree with this. When I was creating it this did cross my mind, but it came out better than I thought it would. But Forestal, do you know why some pages came out black-on-beige and others came out...

You're welcome. Update: Fixed the quality issue, however, I'll leave both versions available in case for whatever reason a smaller file size is required. I am pretty sure that there are some in The Laborium Album. The only ones I can see are the four that depict the giant ship. I'm more saying that I'm going to scan the entire book into PDF. Yes. And I am more saying where to put them when you do. File is too large, added to my old MediaFire ...

I wish we still had the maxiumum term for politicians. Add an age requirement too.

Maximum of 3 terms as an MP, minimum age of 40.

Would kill off career politicians and ensure that those who came into government had some experience outside the halls of West Minster.

His statement (a rare event in itself) was timed to coincide with a treasury one from the chancellor in which he brought forward his promise to carry out an assessment of where the new Government fiscal policy was headed and also to put forward a plan to get borrowing back under control for the med...

I'll chime in here with a tangentially related note on the economy. My fianceé was talking with her father the other day on the phone, thus I by proxy was also, because speaker phones are a thing. We proposed the idea that this budget seemed similar to that in 1972 as said in one of your previous p...

Kwarteng, if you think that the people of this country are going to sit and watch you put two fingers up to them from the floor of the House, and there won't be a kick-back, then you ain't a grain as smart as everybody seems to think you are. And that's a fact! I agree with everything else, except ...

While I appreciate your takes on the cummings and govings of the UK (I like that pun, well done), I'm surprised that you make not a mention of the fact that Ukraine has liberated an area half the size of Wales in the last week. I know it's not internal politics, but surely merits a sentence or two, ...

This relationship between William and Harry does at least demonstrate how far we've come as a nation in the last few hundred years; In times gone by if the future King's younger brother disagreed with him fundamentally, when it came time for the older brother to take the thone, there would be a war....

Liz Truss was the last person photographed with the Queen before she died.

Ergo: Liz Truss killed the Queen.

peter wrote:The actual result came in at Truss 57.4 percent, Sunak 48.3 percent. That's not accurate - that's frikkin' spooky!
I think the spooky bit is that's 105.7% and no one has said anything!

Until recently I would have agreed with you, but prior to the confidence vote in Boris the issue of his greencard was quite prominent in the media so I suspect more people are aware of it than would otherwise be expected.

All that may be true but let's be realistic, he's not "British, British". The old man is right, he's not "Fully British". He has/had an American green card, he's basically part American. Race has nothing to do with it really.

I have always found Meghan to be deeply unlikable and despite her former career as an actress, a totally unbelievable one. Every word that comes out of her mouth I find entirely facetious simply because of the way she delievers it. Do I believe that there is discrimination in the royal family? Absol...

Well, there are some Brexit voters who admit that they're wrong, myself included. I voted for it, but I voted for it on principle and not in the fashion that we executed the move. I was hopeful for a second referendum after we saw what a fiasco it was going to be under our completely inept leadershi...

If we take nothing else from this vote it's this: Boris wanted to have the vote, win and move on with no more talk of leadership battles, or fitness to lead the country. Having a mandate to carry on status quo. Now we will have months of continued calls for resignations, shouting about Boris only ha...

And here I come after the announcement that the leadership no confidence vote will happen today and we shall have a result by this evening. Not an unpresidented speed of vote, but very fast never the less. As Peter says, there are not really any ministers who are able to take over from Johnson shoul...
