Granted its going to be a while before things get rolling but when they do I'm kinda stressed on what type of voice to go for with tc, so much inner dialog... On a side note this is kinda what I'll be going for animation wise LEGO Walk into Mordor: youtu.be/6ZrJPiq9QGM Probable with a few more clay ...

tc movie

I'm getting started in the beginning stages of stop motion animation with the goal of doing the first series eventually. When the time comes is anyone I interested in voice acting for the characters? I thought it would be cool to have the tc community involved in the flick[/quote]

so I was doing some random page reading in my office(the bathroom) and I may have stumbled across an answer to the creator disappearance. although covenant is just guessing when he states this, I think it is actually a very plausible reason for the creators absence. AATE page 557 He no longer wonder...

breaking of the arch

ok, a friend of mine who just finished the book was debating this with me. He seems to think that the arch was not in danger of being completely destroyed and that the worm basically just put a crack per say in it. He says only the world was going to be destroyed but time would remain. I interpreted...

the ending

Doesnt it seem like Donaldson is way to detailed of a writer to give us an ending so lacking in details. I thought the tld was a great book but the ending in my own opinion was not up to parr with his previous writing. I finished this about a week ago but thought i'd reflect incase i was being to pi...

Lords of the Sky-Agnus Wells

Just finished my first reread in about 10 on this book. It was refreshing to read something that is resolved in one book. The only thing i didnt like about it was that everything must change and end(the lord of the rings made me feel the same way when i read te appendix and learned everyones fate).

The Neverending Story. Someone finally hit upon where I got the idea of Linden riding the Worm.
Didnt they do that in Dune as well?

Our worlds survival

If remember right in the first book the note that the old begger gives covenant states that if the world of the land is destroyed our world will lack the inner strength to survive. Granted i have not finished aate(incase there is more that relates to this, im half way through), do you guys think tha...

i guess this is somewhat off topic but since so many of us feel that nothing compares to the first time reading this series....what do we do when its done. could be a long time or never for another like this to pop up. makes me wish i could wipe that part of my memory so i could reread everything

i first read tc when i was about 14 or 15 years old. before that i too had been a big fan of lotr, the martian chronicals, earthsea, narnia, and so on. i dont know if it just takes a specific mindset to become hooked or what but i find that every time i read a new book all i do is compare it to tc. ...

Indeed, Kevin would have found white gold infinitely more useful.
i get way too excited about what ifs, as if no one could tell. imagine during the end of kevins rein if he had thought of this and somehow summoned a younger, married and actually happy non leper covenant. oh the possibilities

if i had to pick one for me it would be lord fouls bane. the first half of the book is very hard for me to get through. although i would say that the first time i read it i didnt have that problem, only now since i know what im looking forward to in other books

im wondering if she and covenant had went to war, maybe covenant would have gave her his ring. I think she might have been able to use it since she was kin. i think the combination of her wielding white gold and the staff of law would have made quite a challenge for fouls armies

High Lord Elena

During my current reread of the illearth war i suddenly wondered. If for whatever reason high lord elena had decided against questing for the earthblood and had stayed to fight in the war....what would have been the outcome. I wonder if her presence would have effected the eventual victory outside o...
