that was me that asked that question to donaldson. I find that every question asked to him seems to open even more questions.

POV for the last two books
I got one of my questions in the gradual interview on Donaldson's site, and asked about if it's every gonna be told from Covenant's point of view. Although he didn't directly answer, he did imply that basically it's going to continue to be from Linden's POV. Well, you know, as long as covenant is ba...

I don't know if it is because the writing in early originals just happens to be better every single time, or that it is because people jus...

I think that the insequent had to have been completely made up for this new series. I find it extremely strange that they are never mentioned at all, or in any form in the second chronicles. Considering how powerful some of them are, i find it really strange that there is no mention. But who knows, ...

I don't want to come off as a dick, the dreaming, but it's spelled Linden, not Lindon.

hmmm
thanks for the replies, folks. There are several who seem to like the malazan books, so I will try and read that one and see how it is...donaldson seems to love his writing. Also, I ordered the neverness book...the story seems very very interesting when i read the summary. I didn't mean to wittle it...

yes
This is by far the best writing he has ever done. The ONLY reason i don't consider this the best is simply because there's no Covenant. And believe me, it speaks volumes for him to actually be able to write a book in the series without Thomas Covenant and for me to still think it is THAT good. This ...

What fantasy series would you recommend?
Obviously I have read all of the covenant books, and love them more than any other fantasy ever written...but is there anything that anyone can recommend that comes close in originality? Is there anything in the fantasy world out there that you, as donaldson readers, would recommend?

anyone read the first two chapters of fatal revenant?
