Interesting, Malik. When I read it, though, I didn't get the Creator=Covenant vibe from it. I saw it as preparation for the possible destruction of the Land and the Creator, but I don't see this as an admission that TC=Creator, despite there being similarities between the two.

Thanks Murrin. I, like Balon, had completely forgotten that I entered until I got Pat's email. I can't really express how happy I am, so....

Congrats to Balon, too! :D

Jenn-
I'll give it a shot, if there are no objections. :) We're talking about chapters 5 and 6 right? I can probably have a summary up by Sunday night.

Agreed. I got it a short while ago too, and I didn't think the remastering added much either. I really do like the album though (which is odd, cause it's so Waters-heavy, and given the choice, I'd pick Gilmour every time, but hey...). I actually think it's some of Water's most moving stuff. When Gil...

Avatar, I agree. I actually really liked TRS. I thought it was very striking and often brutal, but I did enjoy it. I certainly agree though that it feels very different than the rest of the cycle, much more focused, much smaller scale, but I kinda dug it. Still do. :)

Interesting. My wife claims she finds Mystery unattractive and ridiculous. But maybe she's just telling me what I want to hear....

Just started reading ROTE again, but so far I'd have to say I'm not disappointed at all. I've always really liked the "real world" chapters through all of the Chrons. but I thought the entire Prologue section for ROTE was excellent. I can't imagine building tension any better than SRD did ...

I may be remembering wrong, but weren't the catapults built by Satansfist's army at Revelstone? They wouldn't necessarily need wheels then.

But to me, the word "carts" implies wheels. Otherwise they'd be..... sleds? sleighs?

Oh, I'll still watch the finale if I get the chance. Regardless of the "reality" of the show, it is still entertaining, which is really what matters. And even if there are some contestants with ulterior motives, several of the points that Mystery makes are still valid and interesting. So M...

8O What!?! That's a pretty bold statement. While I certainly don't think they can be overlooked, I think Wisconsin is going to take it. (Or at least, that's what my heart says. As much as it pains me, my head says Ohio State - again. :? )

Yeah, the Knopfler/Dire Striats stuff is exellent. I agree with you on the newer MK stuff, though. Not bad, just not as good.

You're right about the negs, although I don't think Brady means to be harsh. He comes across as a nice guy overall, so maybe it's inexperience/nerves.

I certainly agree with The Tick and Lone Gunmen.

The one I would add on would be Crusade, the Babylon 5 follow-up.
