I too would agree with Caoimhin regarding Kevin and his actions/motivation. Performing the RoD was an act of desperation, but that does not mean it was rash or ill-advised. But, as with several names in TCTC, it is comprised of words that roughly define it's purpose.........I see Warward as being protection against war, or protection of the people in the event of a war... Another example that springs to mind is Revelstone...the Giants certainly do 'revel' in 'stone'......

Quite. And as regards Foul requiring corruptable Earthpower/absence of the Staff of Law in order to recuperate - he recovered after he was thrashed to within an inch of his life by the Ritual of Desecration, and the Staff and the various Laws were intact then... I think LF will recover given nothing...
