Why lock yourself in creatively? The fan base wouldn't purchase enough games to warrant the issues.

There's far to many Dues Ex Machina issus with the Chrons, I would at least shadow any characters that will play a part in the plot in a previous film, unlike the Dead from LOTR.

1- If you don't take enough time for the audience to live in Cov's shoes before the rape (Lena)...well, nuff said 2- If you don't take enough time for the audience to love the Land before the rape (Wraiths)...well, nuff said 3- If you don't take enought time for the audience to care about the people...

Well, LFB is about Cov, and IW is about Troy and Elena, with Cov as a secondary character, though our pro/an-tagonist, but Mhoram really is the center piece in PTP, so I was trying to see how Mhoram's story and responsibilities played out through the whole tril.

Okay. I do agree.

But. If he is to play a solid role, wouldn't it make more sense to have his decisions be more integral in the plot?
I can't remember exactly, but didn't he go south for some reason, then find the Unfettered and get Raved?

Re: 8 reasons a TCTC film should never happen

a little dark maybe but not any darker than any war movie thats been made. they worry about a rape but in Gladiator, 300, Troy, Braveheart..etc they show the most brutal sh** I have ever seen. and I know there is more gory stuff than that even..and they had rape scenes in almost all of those movies...

Yes. But to a film audience where 95% have never read the books, and 90% have seen LOTR and Narnia, I think it would seem like such a copy at least with certain things and certain points, whereas Narnia and LOTR don't share too much in common. And while this is normal in the fantasy genre, it's not ...

Show, don't Tell, is the first rule of fight clu...er, story writing. But, it does create the tension for the rest of the dizzle. But, it just kind of feel's like cheating.

But, really, how can SRD highlight Susie with the sign, and then...wait...

Pietten absolutely hated Cov, that's why he tried to kill him. He hated him because he caused Burning Woodhelven, caused Foul to mess with his head, caused the Ranyhyn to stay in the plains, even through the evils of the 40 years between IW and PTP. Pietten hates Cov, but if he loves the Ranyhyn, ma...

He's a sheperd, he could have been watching his flock, but of course Elena and Lena are his flock. Well, maybe I have a deeper qualm here. Bringing back characters throughout the books was absolutely something that I can't give SRD enough credit for, I absolutely love how it works out bringing back ...
