Q6: I don't remember anything about the "Heart of the Earth." Yur right, homes...I think I subconciously pulled the proper name from Amok: "It bleeds here-perhaps because the great weight of melenkurion Skyweir squeezes it from the dense rock-or perhaps because the mountain is willin...

I think the Star Wars films have done it best...TC magic is great, on all levels, but the wood and stone get trumped by the Lord's and the white gold, the Staff and I-Stone...(I gotta get me one of them - phenomenal cosmic green powers...in your ear! DC might wanna get in on it with Apple  ...

I never read Shannara...but that's some aweful writing: "it would not work on wickedness incarnate."...where's the scene to SHOW that the chicken was wickedness incarnate...you can't just TELL people as an descriptive/adjective/exposition...that's pathetic...and the writing seems stunted.....

Q2: Drool didn't affect the moon at all. He changed the appearance of the moon by altering the emanations of Earthpower in the air (just like the Sunbane didn't actually come from the sun, but from corrupted Earthpower.) Q3: Covenant was terrified of the venom; he felt that a direct confrontation w...

Much thanx and nice to meet you, Fist and Faith... Q4: In a film version, would you combine the IllearthStone/OneRock/Orcrest concepts together so-as not to confuse the audience? Not so much something I'd cut, but something I've realised would be a huge problem, I think. I'm...(drum-roll)...Jacob...pleased to text y'all. I'm 29, Wisconsin, US native. I've read all but book#6 thrice - never could get through to the end of WGW but once. My dad introduced the series to me n my sister when I was 'bout 15. I'm not really a fantasy fan...as it seems that all/most of fanta...

Sleepless One is right. Weir would be near perfect...and if he were on-board, maybe he'd convince Crowe to do it with him.

I personally just can't see the boots working on film. It really has no moral/philisophical question tied to it...and it only serves the purpose of keeping Drool in the story from a distance, which a kresh attack near Andelain might work as well, and look cooler. Question: Does anyone else wish Trio...

Re: "R" rating versus "PG13"

1) Can an "R" rated epic fantasy series ever find backing? P'sL did...but it was just one movie, it was of a different kind of fantasy, and it didn't cost $100 mil...I do believe there are daring peeps that might support it. 2) Can a fantasy series that not only does not seek but eschews ...
