All Hail the geeks who would spend their lives discussing such noble scribes on the internet no less! I think we rock.

preserving the law

My theory about all this is that if TC is the timewarden but he can't prevent Foul from messing around with the natural law of the land, who can? Linden can. I just hope that somehow, someway, linden and TC end up together cuz I'm a romantic and I think TC deserves love after being dead for 3000 yea...

Give her some credit!

Okay-I know we aren't dissecting yet but let's look at some facts here. First of all, I found it very significant that Kevin's Watch is gone now. Don't any of you think that means something? And secondly, why else would Hile Troy have broken the law of life if it wasn't for Linden to bring back TC? ...

we ARE strange and we love it

I relish my strangeness! I revel in it! I even cultivate it-I have to-I work at a public school trying to keep kids from hacking my computers! GODS-I wish I was in Andelain!

Looking for fanatics!

Guys (and gals) Did anyone else think FR was the best book Donaldson has written to date? I mean, since I finished it, I had to start Lord Foul's Bane again just so I could do the whole thing and re-read FR! Nothing else would suffice for me. Even LFB is different this time (approx time #35 for me),...

multiple povs

I think if a book is really great, and you are really getting into it, it flows from one pov to another and it doesn't matter to me how many there are-just another way of getting to know the characters. I totally agree with the CS Friedman recommendation-I too, own and love this trilogy. If you are...

fantasy reads

I'm new to this site and I actually asked the same question on a different section here! I love the Robin Hobb books-but you have to read them all together, first the farseer trilogy, then the madship books, then the tawny man as they are all related. Also, the Fionivar tapestry (3 books) by guy kay...

Thanks!

Thanks for the great advice. I forgot to mention to all that I have also read Zelazny's prince of amber stories, Mckilip's riddlemaster (awesome books), and OMG I'm praying that Helen Jordan finishes a memory of light because I devoted two years to Jordan's wheel series. I'm off to the bookstore but...

New Reads

 I am new to this site. What I need is something to read! I just finished FR and it was one of the best books I've ever read. I have read the covenant series so many times they are like old friends. I have already read all of Donaldson's books, all of Tad Williams, Robin Hobb, Frank Herbert a...
