Deities of Eiran, hear my plea! My prophet Leviathan is fighting a monstrous creation of ages past. Mighty though he is, there is reason to believe Leviathan may not survive the struggle with this great Wyrm. This coming season I will be placing the entirety of my divine strength into healing and em...

Hail my fellow dieties! It would appear Eiran has entered troubling times. I admit I know little of this world-breaker; only his intentions in fact. To help combat this evil I pledge my services and all the power of the mighty seas. Once Leviathan emerges victorious over this wyrm expect to see him ...

No reason not to see this through. :D

Now that I know the world's ending, I wish I had done my turn a lot differently.

I'm very fond of the time and space dilation idea. Every turn would be even more unique and fresh than they already are. And the idea of a deity's influence starting centered in one village and eventually expanding to an entire continent is exciting.

I think the random event process would have to be materially changed as well. I would eliminate most 'coarse' follower action events (random splinters, zealots, etc.) as they incent 'coarse' results (e.g., spend DRP to kill them all, etc.). Rather I would focus on coarse 'natural events' (e.g, stor...

Yeah I agree, the leaks could really throw a wrench in the works. That's why conscious effort and a desire to maintain secrecy would be required from everyone. This could be a lot to ask, depending on the individual. And new ways of interacting and playing the game would have to be personally develo...

Courtesy to Menolly, the following has been copied and pasted from comments thread to a more relevant location for further discussion: So I've been thinking a lot about making the effort to hide the players in P4, and the more I think about it the more it makes sense. Here's why: 1. It would create ...

... *glare* As far as anonymity goes, I hope to claim one of my current domains again, so no matter what, I'm sure I'll be known. *shrug* Yeah, I suppose that it could be assumed what deity you will be playing now that you've admitted what domains you'll likely take. But no one will ever be 100% ce...

Yeah that could be a challenge. I'm not too skilled at intuitively remembering writing patterns, but others might be able to.

I guess the bright side would be that it would force you to create a character with more depth, or at least one with speech more alien to how you normally speak.

So I've been thinking a lot about making the effort to hide the players in P4, and the more I think about it the more it makes sense. Here's why: 1. It would create a blank slate; no one would gain an advantage from their experience of how a certain player generally plays a deity. 2. Simplifies the ...

Amazing. A month long plot of silence well executed by Zephyr, with the goal of a stealthy and decisive attack on Nor Yekith, who by the sounds of it has simultaneously planned his own special way of leaving the game. How awesomely dramatic! :D
