Samuel L Jackson and a Lightsaber VS a Tyrannosaurus Rex

Who would win?
T-Rex. Jackson would succumb to a fatal overdose of viral infection from being in a different time period. you can't kill germs with a lightsaber. 8)
But what if they fought in the present?

The Bloodguard who broke down on the Watch. (Tull/Runnick?) I found that quite shocking... That was Tull, good call there. Well, what can I say... But yeah, clearly, Tull is one of my favorite characters. I mean, the Bloodguard who showed emotion. That's huge. Nom was pretty cool. Especially once C...

And here in Illinois, there's a town called Morton Grove that did just the opposite: They passed legislation that outlawed the ownership and possession of handguns. The result? By comparison, the population of Morton Grove, the first city in Illinois to adopt a gun ban for anyone other than police o...

Having been rewatching the entire saga lately, I've come to a few conclusions about the prequels, and what they were missing: First off, the Han Solo type of character. The character that's in it for himself; he's not a Jedi, he doesn't have any high ideals. He just wants to get paid and go home. I ...

The entire Battle of Yavin. Williams is just an absolutely amazing genius in writing the score there; that main theme towards the beginning as the X-wings start their attack gives me shivers of awesomeness every time I hear it, much less see it. And Luke pwning Jabba's barge. It's the perfect intro ...

We had some really good snowstorms the past few weeks. A lot of horizontal stuff... now it's just cold. I think it hit somewhere around -20 or -30 with wind chill today.

The Land was the first place that I heard about the Last Chronicles, but I didn't explore the place much because I still hadn't finished the Second Chronicles and didn't wanna accidentally spoil anything. Then, a few days later when I'd finished WGW, I tried to go and bam, it was gone. It was dishea...

Yeah, a true democracy is waaaaay too inefficient for anything much bigger than a village - the way I understand it, basically, the ENTIRE COUNTRY is your Congress. Every citizen of voting age gets to vote on every single piece of legislature. It's nuts.

Really, it's not how I feel today that's the issue here so much as how I WILL feel tomorrow, seeing as how I signed up to be an Election Judge, which entails a 15-ish hour long work day. With no breaks.

And I have a runny nose.

If all else fails, just get in contact with Jack Bauer. Fictional or not, he could take Chuck Norris any day.

Which is a WONDERFUL idea, of course. Don't force the person whose fault it is to take responsibility - THAT might set a good example for people to follow. Instead, let's make it the fault of the guy who's trying to make an honest living.

Didja catch that sarcasm there?

I second what null said. Pretty much everyone from my age group (I'm 17) and younger are all selfish assholes, with a couple of exceptions here and there. I like very few of the people I know in my school. They aren't taught that their actions have consequences, and how to take care of themselves, o...

Welfare is simply an accelerant that exists within some sections of that demographic. I don't think I could have said it any better myself. Sex is much mor...
