I know when I was a kid I would've loved those sorts of albums, I had Lord of the Rings and others on cassette that I listened to, and I got a lot of enjoyment out of my parents' vinyl (hence my love of their 60's 70' prog rock)

I heard "The haunt of Roulette Dares" and had to check them out, of all the heavy metal prog bands out there(Im at a loss for what else to call them) probably the only one Ive really taken a liking to.

Ive read The Illearth War more then any other of his books, still my favorite. The army's march and the scenes inside Melenkurion Skyweir are some of his best writing imo.

I do like some of their music... to me The Tain and The Hazards of Love are excellent...along with a few other songs, The Infanta immediately comes to mind, but still a little too pop-y for me at times, though I do highly admire their lyrical stylings

I very much enjoyed this book, pretty much every story ranges from good to excellent in my eyes, several stories there are amongst my favorite reads. "The Djinn..." has a nice plot twist near the end.

Been in a Jethro Tull kick recently....Heavy Horses and his "Rare and Unreleased"-the one with the Chateau D'isaster stuff, but just switched to Relayer by Yes in the car Cd player Side note...who here has heard either "The Tain" or "The Hazards of Love" by The December...
