Well, I voted that he'd take the money, tax free. Cuz I figure that's really the only thing that'd do it. He could use the money to join, then promptly cancel his subscription and never play again, if he really cared to. And then he could use the rest of that money to come back to the US and visit u...

Speaking of card (rather than strictly board) games, any players of Fluxx out there? Very much so, yes! I love fluxx! The fact that the rules constantly change is one of my favorite things about it! I've only ever played the original version, but I've been very interested in some of the alternate v...

Apples to Apples FTW! That's a favorite among my friends!

A couple of my friends are getting ready to take the GRE and they decided to take their flash cards and play Apples to Apples with them. I haven't played it with them yet, but I'm pretty excited about it. What a great way to study!

Just seen an amazing shooting star. That's me happy for a week, at least! I've never seen a shooting star. Is that strange? If you're going to start looking for one, they seem to be more common in September iirc. I don't know, I saw three on the same night this past May. But it was Beltain, so that...

no. They don't teach undergrad classes over the summer. Only grad school classes. I could take classes at one of the other universities in the area, if I wanted/had transportation. But I wasn't really interested. Apparently though, Virginia Western teaches a sign language class over the summer. I mi...

Which port I go for is often dependent on the lay of the land. I'm not gonna sit on the wood port if I'm not going to be bringing in any wood. I'd like to say that I go more for the 2:1 ports(more bang for your buck), but often I find it's not worth it, or I have an abundance of something else. Over...

Where are you working this summer, magick? Are you back at the pet store? Somehow I missed that information this time around. lol, no. I'm working on campus as an RA. The office is closed today, so I didn't have to go in, but technically I'm still on duty, so if one of my residents comes to me with...

I saved another turtle in the road this one at work. we relocated them to more comfortable places than the middle of a road. The only thing you have to be careful of when relocating turtles is that you have to move them off the road in the direction they were already traveling. If you put them back...
