Wow! To all the people who are losing/trying to lose weight, good luck and congrats on the progress that you've had thus far. If not for the weight loss, just know that you're doing it so that you can have a healthy heart and body and keep yourself in good shape long enough to finally see The Last D...

Well, like most new shows you need to watch the first one to see his motivation. I thought the first two eps were outstanding, the 3rd ok. abc.com has full eps of most of their shows, like all the networks do; that's how I got caught up. Agreed, on all accounts. Lurch, that WAS a fantastic analysis...

IIRC the Heers of Soaring Woodhelvin told TC and Atiaran about such a bird, but I don't think Covenant actually saw it. That's kinda what I was thinking.....either Soaring Woodhelvin or Foamfollower both make sense (since birds often hang out in trees or by water). You are correct. It is mentioned ...

Life on Mars

Anyone watching this? It comes on ABC at 10PM on Thursdays nights. Third episode in on this week. I caught the first two, and I must say that I like it thus far. It packs a pretty good cast of actors, Harvey Keitel, Lisa Bonet, Micheal Imperioli (Goodfellas and Sopranos) and Gretchen Mol. It's an Am...

Three-Winged Bird??

Hey all! I recently ordered a set of the First Chronicles again, all three original 1977 Hardcovers. Let's just call them, my Needful Things!! So I've began re-reading the entire series. I just finished Vespers in Lord Foul's Bane. Let me begin by saying that I am reading things that I don't recall ...

I never finished ANY of the Ultima games, just lost interest in 'em. Ditto on Hexen; I got to a point where I got "STUCK" unable to go any further, from there, lost interest. Quake 2 and Quake 4. Quake 2 I lost interest after having my savegame information nullified in one of their updates...

Ram It Down was a very disappointing outing from Judas Priest. Yes, but they totally made up for it with Painkiller (which is, by far, my favorite Priest album). Thrill Kill Kult took a major turn for the worst with EVERYTHING after Confessions of a Knife, as did the Doors with everything after LA ...

are you using a pre-made software package, or developing your own code from scratch?
