A TC-based NWN server wouldn't be a half-bad idea. But my ambitious arse wouldn't be able to settle for anything less that a built-from-scratch Covenant game.... It doesn't have to be built from scratch; KotOR is basically a mod for NWN. As is the Witcher as well. However, both were created using t...

Maybe not quite on topic because it's large and you have to buy the game, but Guild Wars is a subscription-free MMO that's pretty high-quality. At this point it's several expansions in and this complicates the structure a little (expansion is self-contained, with its own starting areas and full con...

I think this distinction is intentional and very important to the story. Let's look at the First Chronicles. What would Covenant have done if he had never met Atirian, Mhoram, or Foamfollower? He would have failed. Hell, he was even entertaining Lord Foul until he said he was known as Satansfist. Af...

Has it been settled that Longwrath really is intent on Linden, or do the rumors still hold that he may have mistaken her power for Joan? No, and there is just too much ambiguity at this point to make that distinction with any accuracy. It IS obvious that he is trying to kill a female from outside o...

Second, we also have words in the story and in the text that when you're dead in the real world, you don't have to return when your summoner dies. Hile Troy being the first example. So even Foul's demise in the second chronicles didn't send Covenant back, as it sent back Linden. Wait a second here,...

Covenant's Summoner
This just hit me the other day. Covenant was summoned to the Land by people outside of the Land, the most important and prominent to our story of which just so happens to be good ol' Jeremiah. Would it be possible, in theory, to break Covenant's summon by killing Jeremiah, and thereby booting him fr...

I definitely be willing to do just about anything to get a peak at those initial 1052 and 1209 page drafts. I wonder what all was cut out or revised; this could bring up many points as well, for instance, suppose one of the editors just so happened to secretly be a member of THOOLAH!!!! what then? T...

Jeremiah and the Insequent
This was originally going to be posted in the construct thread, but I really didn't want to divert the topic anymore from it's original post, so it's getting a thread of it's own. Along our discussion of the Insequent, Jeremiah, Jeremiah's powers, and time-travel, I have developed yet another theory...

Fantastic Contraption
fantasticcontraption.com/index.php Here's a super-addictive little web-game that is just about keeping me up at night. It just seems super simple at first but then it just gets super addicting as you start to say to yourself "I can finish this if I just place this one wheel here..." Heheh...

Ugh...terrible. There really needs to start being a fine for those game publishers who put out games that just do not work. At least delay the game if it is not working. I'd much rather wait for a game that works than get a game that I have to download patches for. There really is no excuse for thi...

The Theomach didn't die. He just faded away. Actually, he merged with an Elohim (supposition), and later merged with Brinn Haruchai . There's no reason to suspect he's dead AFAICT. Well, I believe it was mentioned somewhere (in a GI I believe) that Kenaustin would no longer play a part in the story...

I just watched the Gameplay trailer. Looks nice. I had played the original Diablo (we used to play netgames at work in the 90's). As far as D3 goes, I'm really not expecting too much from it, since it was created by Blizzard (I haven't been able to respect Blizzard ever since they released World of ...

I've had a Wii for a couple of months now..... bought Mario Cart when I first got it. I've been rocking Mario Cart, and have currently taken 4 golds in the Mirror series. 4 more to go! =) I just got Dance Dance Revolution for the kids (I have 3 daughters), and I must admit, it's pretty fun if you ha...

I think that it may represent the passage into the land, or , in less articulate words, the portal into the land. Outside is Linden's world, work, her car, the Berrenford Medical Center, and so on. However, inside the house, after one steps through the construct at the door, one is greeted by constr...
