Well, more than a year later, I finished today. It only took a couple days to read, it just took more than a year to start. Hey, I've been busy! So much a fan of the trilogy! Loved all the origins. Yeah, Blues was great. Skinner was a surprise, even though we really didn't get much. Interestin...

Indeed it is! I'm enjoying them quite a bit. As you say, nothing like the tortured nightmare of the Kharkanas books. And much easier reads than the Fallen series. But it's really great to see the beginnings of all these characters and events. We get Dassem's origin, and some great action. We get so ...

I also loved RotCG. I'm only 20% into this one, but I already know it's at least as good. VERY much enjoying it! It's great to see the characters we've known for a while again. Some new ones already seem very interesting. Truth is, it has the feel of MoI. Not the horrifying parts. (At least not yet....

ICE's book came out. I read a post on the Malazan site that had some spoilers. Thought I'd see if anything interesting was mentioned. Don't worry, I'm not about to spoil anything for you. Heh. The first was interesting. The second was kinda mind-blowing, so I got the book to see how it plays out.

I can't fucking stand how good this book is!!!!!!!! Damn my exhaustion!!! I can still barely read. Actually reading standing up so I can't fall asleep! And still, absolutely fantastic book! Not sure if I can say it's my favorite of all Malazan books, but it's sure among the trinity, with MoI and DG....

Sometimes my apnea kicks my ass. (Yeah, let's see how you're doin' after 100,000 years!) I've had the book for a few weeks now, but couldn't tackle something like this. Even Warhammer books have been beyond me lately. But I started it today. Very difficult to keep my eyes focused on the page, but I'...

I'm sure it would be cooler after another reading, but I'm not ready to tackle books 5-10 again yet. Only once each so far. *sigh* Still, it's the best thing ever. As I assume I said somewhere above, the Snake turned out to be the coolest thing! Fiddler was my answer even before Paran asked Quick th...
