Final Book of Series 1 did it for me
My wife calls me an unfeeling bastard sometimes, but I did loose some tears at the end of the first series. I have some pretty giagantic friends of my owne (I'm 5'5 and a couple are 6'6"). Somehow, I connected with Foamfollower, and when he went, well.... it was almost as bad as losing Spock. H...

I just found this forum, being new to the entire community. Although the original post for this was a good year ago, I feel compelled to share my thoughts as well. I'm a huge SK, more with his new stuff rather than his old. I do feel that by adding himself into his own book, it took on a bit of egom...

Spoiler Alert! Linden Avery – The new “Unbeliever”?
I’ve finished reading FR, and am in many ways quite upset regarding Linden’s actions throughout the two books. Don’t get me wrong, I’m deeply indebted to SR for finishing the series, and so far it’s a good read; however, I’ve never been a huge LA fan, and now I’m becoming even less. I’m a father, an...

Kevin's Watch Anthology - What are the Submissions About?
Hi All,
Thinking of purchasing and contributing to the anthology; however, I know nothing about it. Is it comprised of stories, poems, art revolving around the Chronicle Series, or is it Sci-Fi stories, poems, etc. simply composed by Kevin's Watch members?
Do tell, please!
Thanks,
Mark

I've found the same as well. I read the LFB when I was a teen, and was simply facinated, and as most teens do, fantasized about the Land. I've read the series a couple of times since then, and am now reading it once again as to prepare for its ending in the final two books. I now am much more unders...

New to This Land
Hi All - I'm still trying to figure out this forum, so if this post comes up elsewhere, I wrote something similar yesterday but can't seem to find it. I'm an avid reader of the Chronicle series, but have not read anything else by SD. Are any of his others as good as this series? Not to date myself, ...

New to This Land
Hi All,
I just joined the watch, mainly to look for indepth explanations of the different series. So far, I'm finding it a great site. I've read the series now several times over the last 20 years or so. To whomever put the time and energy into its creation, THANKS!

Yes, even better than anticipated
I read the first two books of the new series, and have now gone back and am reading the entire two sets of trilogies, again...... If I had to rank them thus far, I'd put the first trilogy as number one, this new set as #2, and the second trilogy third. The new one fills in a lot of gaps. With two mo...

Are There Any Chronicle Guides such as LTR Series?
Hi All - just joined, and have read the series several times over the last 20 years or so (I'm dating myself, but what the heck...) Anyway, I read the first two novels of the last series, and have started re-reading the first 6. I've done some Google searching for my question, but have come up blank...
