Rum is never good in my books, no matter how top shelf. Especially not when mixed with tequila and brews. But I suppose one must experiment.

^Yea, you are right. Garrius kinda needs to post first as to his orders - though theres nothing stopping you from taking him aside IC and informing him of the state of the ships supplies etc (Seneschal stuff) and your suggestions. Do it politely though. Haha. It would be nice to get Garrius' directi...

^Yuss! [ 1 - Salt's preliminary exploration of the wreck of the Havok has revealed that most of the vessel is utterly ruined. Small pockets exist with failing life supports, and there are a few hundred raiders still clinging to life therein. The entire vessel is awash with high levels of radiation f...

Character posts over in the prethian thread seem to be OOC with little story telling, what would be the best way to reply? Just with instructions or proper story posts or what? I would like to see a story post from Garrius at least, as he's calling the shots in the end. But really, it's whatever pe...

[ Rough estimates will put the death toll at about 1,000 - of which nearly half were Armsmen. ] I think I found the solution to our food problem. At least in the short term. 1000 human corpses, just waiting to be recycled. And they're already cut into easy-bake portions. Just be sure to nab 'em bef...

So, I thought I'd just ask all of you kiwis on here: culturally, in AU and NZ, is the "proper" accent (or "I don't have an accent") intended to be the same as British? Or is it just very subtly different, and GK can't tell the difference? No, the New Zealand and Australian accen...

Another film based on a graphic novel. Awesome. We know what to expect. Time to turn the brain off and just enjoy some pure entertainment. The theme of old grizzled veterans vs young uns is always good. Bit disappointed with the PG-13 rating but hey i'm sure it's enjoyable. The shot of Malkovich sho...

Yea man. One thing i'm particularly excited about is the new map design. Makes the old portal (which was revolutionary for the time) look two dimensional and blocky. This is much more organic and apocalyptic. Dig the broken-down-lab direction that they've taken. I honestly consider Portal the spirit...

^ So much truth in this post.

I'll have to say ACDC are rated pretty much as they are though...as a one note rock band. Sure they fill concert halls, but noones foolin themselves that there's pretty much 5 ACDC songs, and they repeat them on each album.

Underrated - The Hellacopters.

Vader, you're into Type O, so you should dig Blake - Finnish stoner rock band. Vocalist has a kinda Danzig/Steele vibe. Basso. Blake: Man is a Planet www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVcIxtkphHI Check the bass in the chorus. Fireroot be a good album to pick up. Plutonium Orange are also pretty sweet. Aaaand ...

Had forgotten about Budgie! Never heard of Pentagram but I'm sure there was a band called Pentangle. Budgie are freakin awesome. Pentagram started in '71 but didn't really release an album until 1985...so if you're a child of the 70's I'm not surprised you haven't heard of them. If you like Sabbath...

A few years ago I discussed the film extensively with Variol Son, who's also a Kiwi, and half-Maori, and he did talk about that "comedic value" aspect of it. For sure, "New Zealands favourite romantic comedy." www.facebook.com/pages/Once-Were-Warriors-New-Zealands-Favourite-Roma...
