In TWL chapter 19
His (LF) Ravers shared his recovery
So they gained strength alongside Foul. What if the Ravers had gained access another way, not via Landsdrop, (maybe via the Northron Climbs and Gaurds Gap?) this might bypass the Interdict line.

I say that his deliberate and multiple use and creation of circles in his theogy stand as proof (not definitive, but proof), of the potential of his nature.

Like wise I can identify more with the loneliness of TC rather than any of his disfiguring qualities. However, taken in the context of my topic 'The only way to hurt a man (woman) who has nothing...' I feel that in we can find companionship, like that found in the Land

One of the characters in FR, (I think it is the Mahdoubt), says that they take their titles to gratify them selves.

The one other thing that got me wondering was/is his obsession with circles, not so much his desire for gold.

Certainly, some (if not all) of his age and power come from the Croyel,
but as we do not have a full report on Inquest nature I was open to other opinions.

Kasreyn as Inquest?

This is here to prevent spoilers.

Does anyone else see the similarities, title, obsession, age and wanderer?

I hear that most Inquest refer to themselves as, 'The ...' bit 'The Kasreyn of the Gyre, Kemper to the gaddhi' seem a bit of a mouthfull.

Maybe I'm reading to much into it.

any ideas?

Like wise I believe that the novels that TC wrote have no relation to SRD's writings. I recon that they were life reactions to his experiences in the Land, his book 'Or I will sell my soul for guilt' was proberbly inspired by his guilt for ShFf's death.

Maybe SRD should publish those books :)

There is no knowing which of the phases of the sunbane came first. If even a couple of hours of desert can undo six days of fertility, (see TWL just after Stonemight Woodhelvin), then a sun of desert would kill the majority of the forest in under a day. Good bye collosus before there was even a chan...

I want to apologize to all who are confused by what I ment. To clarify - What thing(s) have you lost and been given back broken? Yes, it is heavy and personal but in my experience, and I admit this is new to me as well, the first step to healing is to admit to others how you are hurting, even if it ...

Their mastery both contradicts and affirms the task that TC gives the Haruchai at the end of 'Those who part' chapeter 12 of WGW.

Anybody else read/heard the interview he did after the publication of RotE, especially the part where he says that he wrote the chronicles so that people could fall in love with the Land and the world not the characters in particular?

When Liand tell LA that mithil Stonedown had been visited by the Elohim, she refers to them as 'Earth-powerful beings'. In the SC they are described as 'Earthpower incarnate'. As a result I speculate that Earthpower is found in it's concentrated form under Melenkurion Skyweir, but is distributed th...
