Look at Trell for an example... a simple Gravelingas who was driven to such extreme pain that he attempted Desecration. An excellent point here! I wonder if the lords following the events of the First Chronicles might have been able to protect against such things happening by really developing thei...

Just want to mention here how much I love The Pendragon Cycle series. The Arthurian legend is really such a classic story, I think just about everyone has been exposed to it. I really find it fascinating just how much has been written telling this story. What's great about Lawhead's version is how n...

The Pendragon Cycle is actually what got me into fantasy literature in the first place back when I was 12, and although I didn't understand a lot of it at the time, I really loved the style it was written in.

I am a big fan of Celtic mythology. The simple fact that the name Taliesin was recognized has been an excellent welcome! I feel that this is a good place.

Haruchai and Earthpower

When the Haruchai, calling themselves the Masters, reveal that they have decided that any use of Earthpower will ultimately serve corruption, I feel like Linden didn't really try too hard to argue for the merits of Earthpower. There's at least one use I can think of which couldn't possibly serve Lor...

Nerves don't regenerate, of course they don't, they don't - This was important - he knew it was important - but for some reason it did not carry any weight with him. His heart was too hot with other emotions to feel that particular ice. What mattered to him was that Prothal and Mhoram and the Quest...

Greetings all,

I actually only began reading these amazing books 2 months ago, and right from the moment Covenant finds himself in The Land, I lost myself in The Chronicles. Now that I'm up to date on the books, I'm certainly not ready set aside this amazing story. So, here I am.

Peace
