If you talk to the right people, the'll tell you of a certain section of the ship that's haunted by minor ghosts. Not so dangerous as to kill a man, but it's not uncommon for someone to be ensorcelled down there. Walk in pairs, if you can, and if you see your friend start lookin' all blank, give him...

Several older men stood around barrel fires on the Great Passage. Many children and their mothers, evensome teenagers gathered around to listen to their tales. "So the stories say, maybe a thousand years ago, the Invictus Aetera were involved in a great space battle. All those who've checked th...

Andrea rises from the rubble, her gown already destroyed from her previous climbing, but now it's covered in dirt. Even the air filter had finally given up, as she could taste the dust in the air she breathed. Activities in order of importance: 1. Find Garrius, provide him any assistence he needs (m...

Andrea notices the guards' reaction, and calls out loudly so all can hear (including, nudge-nudge, Garrius and the other leader-types still up top). "A true servant of the Emperor wouldn't destroy that which was His. Even we impure tools of the Emperor's will further his goals here, if only imp...

Julient stares down at the bubbling remains of Stavram, and back to Andrea. 'Whoever he is means to kill Deltael. With a crowd watching, I suspect. If we can save him, there will be quite a reward, I'm sure'. Andrea makes no move to "come forward" but allows other refugees to do so if the...

Before she responds to the call of the man she assumes to be the real enemy, or perhaps another roboty servant of him, Andrea glances around to those already on the ground. Is there anybody there with more authority to speak than me? I surely hope so. This is feeling distinctly military, and I have ...

The dress had been too bulky to wear while climing the curtains, so she's resorted to ripping the under layers out of it before starting her initial ascent. To provide some small amount of modesty, realizing that her undergarments were just a bit too risque to be all she wore for the rest of this es...

Oh yeah. I'm not saying she didn't bring it on herserlf. Just that it happened. And in Andrea's little self-absorbed world, the whole world is being mean to her.

Well, of the nobles she's encountered since this trip started, exactly none of them have failed to be inappropriately rude to her. (I suppose if I went back and read, I could find a minor character who was reasonable. That guy at the riot, for example...)

I'm not sure why, but my inner view of nobility in the 40k universe tends more towards being vicious backstabbing inbred cretins, rather than having any qualities of character worth lauding.

It's not like I've read any of the novels or anything; maybe it's my American heritage showing through?

He never let other Rogue Traders chastize her in public. He never let the Navigators chastize her in front of outsiders. That's a valid enough point. She should have pointed it out. She's new. She didn't want to make waves. And then later, it would have come off as whiny to bring up old things. She...

[ Andrea is feeling kind of petty at the moment. She'll go along with whatever plan they come up with, but she was told not to pretend to be military... so she'll trust Garrius to handle all that stuff for her. If somebody suggests climbing down the shaft, she'll at least use her enhanced vision to ...

"He is Conan. He will not cry; so I cry for him."

When Garrius cries, he uses the violence to inspire tears in you...and you do the crying for him.
