When it's time, I cast Guidance on Kali. It gives +1 competence bonus to skill checks. Then I cast Prayer . That gives +2 luck bonus. Then I cast Eagle's Splendor. That gives +4 cha, so +2 ability bonus. Then I use Aid Another skill check, maybe another +2. Goat helped me with the math. I think that...

Also at the speed of plot, I cast all of my low-level healing spells on Led so he gets back up to full. I prepare the following spells for the evening: Cleric 0 |Cleric 1 |Cleric 2 |Cleric 3 |Cleric 4 |Staff (32/50) Guidance | Identify | Aid | Dispel Magic| Dismissal | Les Restore 1 Guidance | Ident...

I have no ranks of Perform, but I can try it untrained. My charisma bonus is huge. (That's what She said.)

I tell Led to save the cleric's body. His head didn't explode. He can still talk, if I cast Speak with Dead on him.

"These stones are part of the aether web. Laurel managed to sing that one closed. I don't know if we can whistle this one open.

[I cast Identify on it. Shouldn't I know what the trigger is?]

I make a Knowledge (Arcane) or Spellcraft roll to figure out how to use the stones. I have Arcane Sight active.

I cast Identify, if necessary.

[Oh yeah, I'm supposed to play for Anna.] Anna will stay with me, and be my dainty little protector. She will guard me while we look at the icky nasty stuff on the dead bodies, and then she will follow me back to the carpet. She will do some other stuff once we're there. But I won't talk about it h...

I cast Cure Critical Wounds from the Staff of Healing on Led. If nothing else attacks us, I cast it again. That should do it. I use my Arcane Sight to detect anything magical on the bodies. But Led can carry it all. Giants and kobolds are gross and icky, and their magic items are not going on my car...

I use a free action to tell Annalysei to go help Katrina beat up the ogre with the half-plate.

[Seven, I don't know what spells she has, but she'd probably use one when she hits.]

I hold action, for now. * If anybody casts a spell at me, I let my Rod of Absorption dispel it as a Free Action. * If the cleric-y lizard or the Anna-type lizard try to cast any spells, I dispel them with my wand. * If I don't dispel an spells with my wand, and anybody on my team is hurt bad, I'll e...

I don't poke. It's not a button.

I caress. I exhale. I nibble. Maybe, if you're lucky, I gently probe with one finger.

But I don't poke.

That's how I pick my spells. Cleric spells that buff the party. Those are always good. And heals. Sorceress spells that just do damage, for the most part. Touch of this, touch of that... fireball is like touch of damage. Only without the touching. I need a spell that can counter this stupid fog. But...

I put away the wand of Dispel Magic , then take hold of my staff. "<expletive deleted> this! Fire fixes everything." I cast Fireball 25' in front of me. It's a 20' radius sphere. And, according to the SRD , it will disperse an obscuring mist in the area of the fire. Cleric 0 |Cleric 1 |Cle...

In the sacred texts of the Unknowable, there are whole chapters on intimate things to be done with the spell Prestidigitation . The spell says its only able to make very mild effects. But if I can levitate a coin, I can do... ahem to Annalysei. Some of the more advanced texts read like the Kama Sutr...

"There's magic here, but the fog isn't magical. It's being pushed by magic, maybe?" [ Remember, the area around the carpet is enchanted to keep mundane wind and dead bugs and dirt off. ] I guess I don't cast Dispel Magic yet. Instead, I cast Cure Critical Wounds on Led. Cleric 0 |Cleric 1 ...

Now she's just turning into a tramp. Anna and I aren't touching her without our latex catsuits on.
