Yes. What Brooke said.
Mom was our light. She was our everything. She was our world. It's darker now. Even tho I feel her presence, it is so not the same. Being home for this Christmas after all that happened last Christmas is bittersweet.
Miss you, Mom. And I ache for you.

Uncle Stephen was beautiful. What is seen here, is only a small flicker of who he was. When he was his sickest, he would still smile. I only knew him for a short time, he passed when I was only 9 years old, but the memories I have of him are so vivid. He and Mom were love personified. As she would s...

In between final exams I was looking at the internet and saw this on Yahoo. This is the type of thing that used to set my mother's teeth on edge. news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100317/hl_nm/us_insurers I will not quote the whole artical, but the jest of it is, in 2001 Fortis, who is the parent company for As...

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary; When troubles come and my heart burdened be; Then, I am still and wait here in the silence, Until you come and sit awhile with me. You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas; I am strong, when I am on your shoulder...

Brooke is right, I'm not much of a reader. At least not a fiction reader. I'm more of a math/science research reader. I'm alot like my Dad in that way. But, being here now, and reading all that Mom had to say about different authors, well it makes me regret that I haven't been. I just took all that ...

There are quite a few of us. As Brooke says, we are Mom's legacy and we plan on carrying on her work here. All of us. She left things in very good hands. I had an absolutely beautiful dream of her about a week ago. It was just her and I, and we sat on a large rock near a river. We were both soaking ...

Hello all, I'm Heidi. Brooke has told me so much about everyone here. Our Mom loved coming here and being a part of this community. I thought I would join in as well. Over the past several weeks, I have been coming here and just reading all that Mom wrote. I was in awe of all the love and support ev...
