I used DE to take care of my ant problem. I would sprinkle it around the foundation of my house in the summer when the ants were out of control. DE was a good choice since I had a basset hound who loved to sniff everything when he strolled around the house.

Too many to choose from. I didn't spend a lot of time checking out the list, but I'm sure there are a lot of great books that didn't make the final choices. It just so happens that a bunch of my favorites happen to be on this list, so I whittled it down to ten. I now realize I overlooked LOTR. Oh we...

I'm a Flyers fan and even I was happy to see the Bruins win. They're a good team that really stepped it up at the end of the season. Good job!

I wonder if anyone actually READS any Wm Faulkner, or if they just agree that he's so brilliant, but how can you read that stuff? My limited experience tends to agree with you. He seems to do all right with short stories, by As I Lay Dying was such a waste of my time. I told people this, and they s...

Yeah, my interpretation was that Ledger's character has escaped the Devil too many times, and the whole bargain with Parnassus and the designs on his daughter were red herrings to enable the Devil to get what he wanted- the Hanged Man Yeah, the Devil knew Tony was a slippery one and he wanted him o...

Caddyshack, Stripes and Ghostbusters are some of Murray's best. I could give or take Lost in Translation, but thought he was pretty good in it. I also liked his bit part in Zombieland. I have no good explanation for it, but I thought Murray was funny in Kingpin. God that man could bowl  Lookin...

Jaz, don't forget about the library. We went to the library a *lot* when we were broke. Umm, let's see, medieval/Renaissance Europe. Have you read "Pillars of the Earth"? That one was terrific; the sequel, not so much. Also, Edward Rutherfurd's "Sarum" and "The Forest"...

They've mentioned a few times (even bought a book from the odd bookstore) about an ancient, pre-dinosaur society. I think this is where the Observers are from. Whether they are traveling from that distant past or survived to the present somewhere no one has seen is one of those questions the writer...

I was taught to use two spaces. One after commas. I probably won't change since I'm so used to typing this way.

I've only seen parts of different episodes. Somehow I manage to miss all those naked Lucy Lawless scenes everyone's talking about. However I do manage to see loads of naked slave girls, massive amounts of blood and piles of limbs...all in super slow motion. Pretty bad acting, but it is what it is. G...

wel Werth is in no way what the Nats paid for him. I am sure the Phils can get someone to patrol right field. is Domonic Brown their right fielder? Brown was a rookie they brought up mid season. He did play right field a few games. Unless the Phils unload someone else (Ibanez?) in order to get one ...

I'd have to rewatch it but I could swear that one of the first episodes in the alt. universe (either the 1st or 3rd one of the season I guess) had one of the Fringe guys mentioning some "Watchers"; I wonder if that's what they call the Observers who have been present at the various Fringe...

Playing catchup with this season. I saw the first three episodes and thought they were great. I love how Dennis gets married and divorced as thoughtlessly as a normal person buying some crap at Wal*Mart. Guess he learned his lesson...back to the D.E.N.N.I.S System for him! :)
