One raver we know is inside Joan, where the second is located is a good question.

Another factor to consider is that in The Land's world the Creator cannot directly himself go to or directly influence anyone in the land or he'll break the Arch of Time. So if Covenant was the Creator that rule was shattered.

If the Mahdoubt is TC, how is it that he is seen riding with Jeremiah ahead of the Demondin? Can a person be in two places at one time? <aybe this is possible since TC is dead, but he came back thru a caesure as a live person? This mustery should be interesting to find out what or who the Mahdoubt r...

Remember SRD wrote that Depsite cannot be destroyed. It needs to be in place to oppose Hope/Faith. Without Evil there can be no Good.

Knowing Linden, she'll try to give the ring back to TC. Of course he'll probably refuse it, telling her that its her responsibility now.

I'm with Aleksandr on this one, the Haruchai know something. They acted the same way with Amok. After what they have went thru the last few thousand years, the Vow, the Desecration, the Illearth Stone, the Banefire, thier failure to beat Despite by Pure Service, you would think they would be a littl...

I agreen with brinn18. It would make no sense for the Elohim to make Kevin's Dirt, it would only blind the people further. I think the Masters have something to do with it, or possibly Esmer.

Linden was told the Giants rarely ever came to the Land anymore, and it was doubtful they would ever come back in her lifetime, but I have a sneaky feeling that SRD is gonna bring then=m back. Not sure in which book and how they'll be used.

Legacy Theme

Has anyone noticed that a lot of the main characters are the Sons of people in the past 2 Chronicles? First you have Roger (son of Covenant), then Jeremiah (son of Linden, but not by birth), Anele (son of Sunder and Holly), Esmer (son of Cail and the Merewives). I can't wait for the next one to show...

The actions of the present day Haruchai (Masters) were shocking to me. The former Haruchai were very strict and judgemental about their own decsions and actions. But to basically decide the fate of the land using their inflexible standards! Holy Crap, the implications are astounding. The poeple of t...

The chances of a Raver possesing a Haruchai is slim, the last time it took the Illearth Stone to control the Bloodguard. Plus Linden would have been able to detect the presence of a Raver after she obtained the Staff of Law. Plus the Haruchai themselves still had their Earth-sense and would have bee...

First of all, what makes you think that just because she asked Liand to hold her to help her warm up, that she was in love with him? She's in her 40's, maybe late 40's and he's probably 18-21 years old. He admires her true but in his eyes she surpasses him in every way he can imagine. She loved Cove...

I have to agree to some extent, but to me the main problem of the Bloodguard was that the people they were serving were not worthy of such Pure Service. Going without sleep for thousands of years, losing your family to serve someone was too much to ask. No one could have been worthy enough for such ...

TC reacted to situations as a leper. He was a social reject, the town he lived in loathed him until he saved the little girl, then they more or less tolerated him. As a leper he could not afford to believe in the Land, or its people who were so dedicated to the Land, and just great people. He did wh...

For me the appeal was that Covenant was a realistic person. He was a good guy, who occassionaly did bad things, and had bad things happen to him and others. Covenant was an anti-hero who wanted to be a hero but could not afford to believe the Land was real because of his leprosy. Plus SRD's great de...

To me the whole issue of whether he was cowardly or courageous plays off on the leprosy. That disease controls every factor of his life, how he acts, his physical well being, his thinking process. Leprosy is his life. As a leper, he cannot afford to dream, dreams are made of hope, he starts dreaming...
