Will pay for postage etc. although will have to check whether giantshipping proves costlier than owl post to UK. Therewith, has anyone considered setuping a fest video link (Skype, Google h...

They'd forbidden cameras inside the chapel. On the other hand, Rosslyn is fairly cramped and a honey jug for buzzing tourists these days, so if everyone'd teem around with selfie sticks, poking at the carvings and one another, nobody'd acquire a chance to appreciate the lavish interior. Our original...

When you begin listening, don't forget to keep a keen ear on the characters' leitmotivs and how they develop throughout the cycle. You'll hear one of the most effortlessly recognizable ones at the beginning of Das Rheingold: a deep, bombastic boom-bo-bom-bom of Holt Fasner...erm, Fasolt and Fafner. ...

I have harnessed and tamed this bucking beast, yet do not Giants revere a rambling, protracted pomp? :P 1. Revise your Norse mythology . 2. Install Spotify . 3. Find Sir Solti's version in German. 4. Reserve a week's worth of evenings for listening in chunks. 5. Enjoy mental images of voluptuous val...

Suppose we can begin with how Shetlanders view certain tourists from further up north. Although, I must say that this bird guise does grant savings when it comes to traveling costs. One merely must avoid amorous pigeons. :P

Plus, I am mesmerized by old Bronze Age sh#t!! Bronze Age droppings lie and sprawl and huddle everywhere. During last Saturday's wee ickle hike alone, I came across four piles. Although these people really ought to clean their shoes after climbing upon that turd. ;) I'm not familiar with the animal...

On my latitude, the sun remains visible for five hours in December. Coldest day was -28C this year.
Anything that doesn't at least match these conditions isn't "cold" or "winterdark". :P :P

I'll respond separately to some of the discussions above, but just a quick note that Fuzzpaw's owls have landed and delivered their cargo in good shape. ;) The owls are resting on the yard, enjoying some evening tea, and Fuzzy has been unwrapped from his brown protective wrappings.
