Finished listening. Little story-specific commentary, but quite revelatory of his philosophy. Found the reference to Ralph Waldo Emerson very interesting -- if anyone knows exactly which poem/essay that comes from, do post. Sounded related to nondualism.

Tried three different independent bookstores yesterday/today -- none of them were even remotely close to stocking it... (e.g., no Donaldson books of any kind, the largest one had just three shelves of combined science fiction and fantasy, and paperback only... ). :( Lots of art books, critical theor...

I usually order books from Amazon, but this feels special and I am going to look for an independent bookstore to patronize.
