Very Handy, thanks! Is there any map (or anything else) that indicates where/how far these two places are from the Land proper?

Re: Is it unrealistic to even attempt to make a movie?

I've had a fantasy of making this series into a series, tv or movie, for years and years. Either by becoming a director or a billionaire who can order improbable things done and have it happen... But, does anyone else think that these would be ridiculously hard to faithfully adapt? Even if the plot...

maps of locations outside of the Land

I've been poking around the net looking for maps to trace the progress of our heroes/villains in the chronicles, but other than a generic map of the Land, there does not seem to be anything outside of that, even though in for instance "The One Tree" the quest takes them to the island where...

Hi everyone, been trying to spend more time on the Watch since attending the Elohimfest last month, saw this post and thought I'd weigh in. Thanks for all the kind words, I really appreciate it, and am glad that you've enjoyed the five volumes I've recorded so far in the series, it was always my in...

I've always thought an HBO series would be able to do the Chronicles justice. I don't see it happening, but I would love to :) The problem with the Chronicles is that is that it's great but often REALLY depressing. The sense of hopelessness that pervades the novels would be a real drag on a TV plot...

Hello

So it was recommended in the other thread to say "hello" and spill how I was exposed to chronicles. HELLO! :) I'm 41 now, from my recollection I was probably about 14 when I read them (1984), so I did not read them when they came out. My mother was dating a guy after my father had died in ...

Hi Nottobrite, and welcome to your first post. I put your review in because I think both opinions matter. I on the other hand I listened to it, (at least a part of it) and couldn't stand it. Very ordinary and mundane, mispronunciations, giants with an Irish brogue. Won't listen to the rest. What a ...

In New Mexico last week Scott was talking about AATE being read by someone else. He said it upset him a great deal, especially how it was handled. He had offered to do the book, he thought he was doing the book and they went with someone else and never informed him. He said he hopes that in 10 year...

They don't exist... at least, not yet. As far as I understand, Brinks would love to do these also... but it's really a labor of love. As far as the First Chronicles were concerned, it was Brink's initiative that brought them about. DelRey publishings doesn't care to support it, so Brinks has to do ...
