Book covers blended together...

https://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj130/darthbuzz/Image2.jpg I love it when the book covers make a picture when together. The 3 in the FC fontana publications and have seen the FC of the Del Rey ones together but not all 6 from the FC and SC. I would like a good copy of all these editions. Hope y...

Yes... me again. Never seen this cover before... https://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj130/darthbuzz/assholeleper.jpg I think it comes between LFB and TPTP. ____________ "See, there are three kinds of people: dic...." I will leave it there. Don't want to be kicked off the site w...

The Absence of The Creator in The Last Chrons

I'm still kind of curious what the Creator's current state of existence is.
Yeah, me too. I think I read in the GI (or maybe it was at an Elohimfest) that SRD didn't include the Creator in TLC because he "wasn't needed."

Death on the Nile

We will wait for Netflix.
In hindsight, that's what we should have done. Lots of jump scares (be prepared,) not much in the way of story.

A Song of Ice and Fire

The first three books were excellent, 4-5 not so much.

I doubt we'll ever see 6, but I haven't given up all hope. No way we'll ever see 7.

Star Trek - Strange New Worlds

I've watched both seasons, and I'm a fan. It's the best ST since DS9.

The Wounded Land chap 19 - "Soothtell"

Great job Earthblood! Soothtell is my favorite chapter in the entire Chronicles. So many questions answered, so much information. But what I like best is here we see Covenant use wild magic like never before. He requires no trigger, just the extremity of his passion. He is not delusional from venom...

The Power That Preserves, Chapter 10: Pariah

Some thoughts on my re-listen of this chapter: 1. Fist and Faith , our recent conversation in the chapter on Elena from TIW, when I said I would try to listen to see if the Ranyhyn still fear Covenant: Its muzzle was frothed with pain, and its sides heaved horridly. But it watched Covenant’s approac...

TIW-Dissecting Elena: Chapters 21 & 22

At that point in AATE, the Ranyhyn should have made him understand it was ok to ride. LFB was a veeeeery long time ago. Both for them and for Covenant who had literally been there Arch of Time. Enough was enough already. I tend to agree. I don't recall if SRD repeats the common Ranyhyn fear of TC t...

TIW-Dissecting Elena: Chapters 21 & 22

Fire blazed up through the slide. Like a suddenly clenched fist, the rubble around Covenant stopped moving. His own momentum knocked him backward, but he jumped up again in time to meet Bannor as the Bloodguard landed his Ranyhyn on the small patch of steady ground. Bannor caught Covenant with one ...

Lord Foul's Bane Chapters 7 & 8

I recently started listening to Scott Brick's audiobooks, and I'm currently in TIW, but I wanted to come back and post some new thoughts here. I probably posted this before, but just to recap: I read LFB for the first time when I was in 5th grade (circa 1979.) Obviously, no 5th grader should read th...

Scott Brick and Colossus

I'm a HUGE fan of Brick's readings for the Covenant books. In fact, it's the way I've revisited them over the past decade. I'm currently in TIW, "The Rock Gardens of the Maerl," and Brick really captures the mood of Covenant's tale of the leprous woman with the irrepressible smile.
