Oh, I don't neccessarily believe it, it is however, roughly the same time period that DD defeated Grindelwald, though, so if the "Big Bad" has always been the same entity... And it would provide JKR with a way not to have to write a 17 year old boy actually killing someone, if she's squea...

Reading a spoiler doesn't do that for me... spoil it, as it does for some people. The ONE thing that they absolutely cannot take away is the thrill of reading it for yourself and reading the story leading up to the spoiler itself and the aftermath. So what if they say XXXX kills XXXX ... they won't ...

I can't wait to see it. And I'm sad to hear there is so little Tonks, as I heard she was being played by the lady who was in About A Boy. Love that movie, and really liked her character in About A Boy. Seems a nice fit. She probably DOES have speaking scenes and all of that... but they were left on...

For the upcoming dissection (o-boy o-boy o-boy) I've bought the soft cover of the first book, and will get others as the dissection goes along. I hope to get a 7 hard-bound set later on. It'll break me but I've come to love the series. ;)

Hermione is a female nerd/geek. Her mind just wants to keep absorbing information and she gets off on it (not THAT way). So yeah, it's kinda surprising that she hasn't burned her eyes out from all of that reading. Wonder why she doesn't have glasses... must have strong eyes. Still she's probably (in...

I'm with Guns. Free Severus!!! I also think that Draco might not be entirely evil either. Time and time again Draco has shown himself to be a coward hiding under the facade of a rich and powerful bully. Why else would he have two hulking goons like Crabbe and Goyle always at his side. So he'd feel ...

Jenn, I for one am a slow reader. There's no way I can read DH when it comes out, and PS/SS for dissection at the same time. I plan on having us discuss DH for a month or so informally, and then start organizing the formal dissection of the entire series. Is that OK? I know I wouldn't want to limit...
