I wasn't really looking for an enjoyable game as such, just wanted to see if there was any computer game that enabled me to walk though medieval towns etc.

I would probably prefer the early ages, as for truth, maybe I mean something that doesn't have huge monsters and creatures that we are pretty sure didn't exist.

David Eddings Balgariad

G'day, just came home from a medieval fair and managed to pick up the Balgariad series, books 1,2,3,4,5 and the prequel, just wondering should I read the prequel first?
If it was written last should I read it last?

Reading speed

G'day, Just curious to know how fast people take to read a book?
Does anybody speed read?
Is speed reading effective, or do you miss important points?
Is speed reading easy to pick up?
It takes me about a month to read a book, I might average 1 hour per day.

Thanks for that, I shall check out the book depository. For our over the ocean pals online that may not know, Poider is a character from a comedy series here in Australia. he is a typical Aussie yobbo, and gets his name from his drunken mates who can't quite pronounce Peter when they have had a few....
