You THOOLAH exiles clearly have way too much time to contemplate the lives of THOOLAH members. Perhaps if you were a THOOLAH member, you'd have better things to do than re-(re-re-re-)read Linden's whining and dream of a better life. You'd be living one. Personally, I've marked all the places where L...

I Hate Linden Avery. Initially I thought she wasn't so bad you know? every group needs a healer. and then I started getting longer chapters with her annoying selfish complaining. Still, I strove to forgive her because her past "problems" to my dismay I even tried to rationalize her sendin...

(I admit, I'm tired right now and I didn't read ALL the prior posts. Forgive me.) My hatred is simple. 1. They're called the chronicles of COVENANT, not Avery. I'd like the MAIN character to actually be a character the whole time. Odd half coma things kinda render him.. irrelevant. A vegetable can't...

Um... Why care? To me, this is like DC's repeated sexuality changes. I don't give a crap if my hero is doing a goat, a girl, a guy, or... a whatever as related to the story. So what? Sexuality has little to do with most well adjusted people. for TC, his sexuality matters more, mostly because of his ...

A window ledge is probably stone, but I hear ya. In TC's initial, summoning, he fell on pavement, right? Isn't there a half crazed Unfettered who swears that stone holds all memories, but can't yet remember TC, as he's too "recent"? Maybe stone protects the Arch from the backlash induced b...

Woah, woah, bac up here. Putting aside the SRD aftermarket jargon (I hate that he even GAVE post book explanations, personaly), it seems like the Tree is simply a more solid Earthpower. Meaning Findail is basically as good as the Tree, really, for power's sake. I always looked at it as a hint. Linde...

My understanding, such as it is, is that the Worm is WITHIN the Arch, but it ISN'T the Arch. Meaning that if it woke up, it would eat the planet and move on. Leaving Foul all alone, with no way to possibly get the White Gold, or shatter the Arch. So he didn't want the Worm awoken, unless its waking ...

There was, but there's a difference here. Ramen travel. Stonedowners don't. So they can accumulate pretty little knickknacks, and the Ramen can't.

Perhaps that explains it more than anything. They didn't actually "use" marrowmelding. It just made pretty statues and art. Which they can't really carry around easily. Since they were constantly taveling, and it served no practical function, the no-nonsense Ramen didn't bother with it.

Maybe, crazy thought here, she just didn't have time. She learned it as a child. So, in between chores and daily life, she develops the skill. Then she goes to study, with no time to teach. Then a lord, and high lord, all of which are busy positions. Any spare time she got, I doubt she'd want to spe...

I agree, definitely, with #8 up there. I don't think Foul could have used the PoC. The "joke" Amok made was, I think, in his greater understanding. The only way he could have said it, without saying what he couldn't say, was that is was the pinnacle of Kevin's lore. But really, as a part o...

I think, while they can fight if needsbe Giants are too cheery to choose to fight. They'd probably have offered other aid if they could. Besides, look at Foamfollower. They'd have Corrupted the Giants with battle. It wouldn't have been right.

But the ring is worthless without being given, not taken. Covenant loves Revelstone and the Land. If he destroys it, he thinks Covenant will GIVE him the ring. The giving is the important thing.

Good point. If an enemy allows you to see their final goal, blocking them from it is easier. Since all he wants is escape, he wants the Arch broken. The only two ways to do that is wake the Worm, which he would have already done if he had that power. Or, of course, white gold. So as long as white go...

The very fact he used the Illearth stone proves his power. Anything or anyone else that went anywhere near it was harmed in some way. Including the Land, as it's said that the upper and lower land split in upheaval from the burying of the banes beneath Melenkurion Skyweir. The Illearth stone was ori...
