Pre-orders for The Killing God are up!

Hello there, Just jumping on to say that I have checked my country's largest and most popular book store chain to find out that pre-orders for The Killing God are now available. I'm not someone who often pre-orders products, but in this scenario I'm willing to throw my money down. I'm sure many of y...

Strange to say it, but I think Vancouver (2009) by Matthew Good is a perfect Album. The Album sticks to the theme of the artists Hometown and memories, and it's really quite diverse. With Rockers, Spacey, acoustic, Sad, and pumped up songs, I have yet to find an album I find as engaging and diverse ...

I really wanted to see this in the theaters. Unfortunately my friends bypassed it to see something more substantial. Thanks for reminding me of this, I'm in no way a Walter Mitty purist and I'm glad to see a positive review of a movie that looked so interesting to me. I hope to pick this up soon and...

Let it be, Rubber soul, and revolver are kinda essential. Paul Mccartney is pretty much one of the rock bass gods up there with Geddy Lee and John Entwistle.. He may not play as fast, but his work and bass melody's surpass most anything I've ever heard. I'd kinda call him a virtuoso.. maybe xD

Please.. please read "Let's pretend this never happened". It is like, 99% the funniest book in the world. Literally, it would be an absolute joy knowing that I had passed this book down to someone else. I may not be the most trustworthy guy around.. but I'm being completely serious right n...

So this new pink floyd album is completely different from the solo album he's been working on? That's good news. I assume since they are calling it a "Pink Floyd" album they'll have nick mason back on drums.. I really doubt Roger Waters will come anywhere near this album though.

I love that man to man moment Godzilla had with the Japanese scientist near the end. I'd never seen a Godzilla movie before this one. I always thought that Godzilla would be the badest bad guy and he would be tearing stuff up because he was totally a monster. I was disappointed that Godzilla was a g...

Is female valor different than male valor or are they pretty much the same things? I'm thinking examples of female valor may include different qualities.

To me the Last beat out the second. I've read the last dark and won't read it again for a long time. I feel like I didn't fully understand the message he was trying to convey or that I was perceiving. I loved Runes of the Earth and really loved Against all things Ending. The insequent make the LC wo...

The power of words

Yesterday I came across a great speech written and preformed by Charlie Chaplin. I had never seen it before and it really struck me, as the passion and truth of what he was saying was absolute. I'd love to hear any inspirational, sad, heart warming, adrenaline pumping speeches that you guys have hea...

The more you talk about it the more I want to see the movie. Your right, It just sounds as if she's reluctant to enjoy the story because it may simply depict a lost and truly scarier form of her religion. I kind of feel bad for her really, I've never been able to believe in some sort of higher being...

I want to see it, just havent got around to it yet. I'm almost 100% sure that the story of Noah predates the Roman Catholic bible anyways. It was originally a tale from Babylon called the Epic of Gilgamesh. Maybe if you tell her that she won;t be so hard on it ;D
