Yay! I finally managed to get one in before you zippy writers got there... velocity inception repotted The man turned to flee, not seeing his wife choose a potted ivy as her high velocity, husband-stopper missile. The pot crashed against the back of his head, violently ending the inception of his fl...

hehe...I see what you mean, Joy - this could get addictive! ;) Fleeing the strident, waxen maiden, Duncan charged for the stairs, unaware of the spilled grease. His feet hit the slick spot, and with a strangled curse he slid straight into the balustrade and over the side as if he were eager for grav...

I want a copy of the Despiser's Handbook....is it illustrated? muahahahaha!!! .....yes, that was my funnybone you struck. As for Pietten...I tend to agree with the person who said he was insane and therefore not responsible for his actions. Pitiable, assuredly - but not blamable in my thinking. The...

There is a huge difference between "copying" and "being similiar". Yup, what he said. Just because two authors may have similar elements does not make their stories the same. Some similarities are inevitable (as someone else said, considering the genres), especially when SRD was...

I agree with Joy - I think it's much better to have TC come clean right away about what he'd done than for Linden to hear it later from someone who might give a distorted version. I also think this shows how much TC has grown and changed from the first Chronicles, when he ran from the responsibility...

Nice job, Kasten! One of my favorite things about SRD's writing is his psychological creativity and I think you've clarified that talent very well here in this chapter.

Excellent dissection, Joy!! I've just begun to read the Chronicles again, so I haven't gotten to this book yet, but your words have brought back all the horror and grief of this revisitation to the Land. Even though I found this section of the Chronicles to be deeply depressing, I'm still looking fo...

I'm re-reading the Dark Tower series by SK, in preparation for the release of the next one. Which is really soon, right?? (I'm an optimist - what can I say? -lol)

Hello All! My name's Michelle and I was refered here by a fellow SRD nutburger. I can't tell you how excited I am that there's gonna be a third Chronicles!! I'll try to contain myself, though, and be content to sit the Watch. :D

guilt

my two cents: I think guilt can be a powerful motivator, but not necessarily a healthy one. And I believe the innocent are vulnerable...but that doesn't make them impotent. Far from it, actually. Who hasn't been influenced by the innocence of a child's smile? Floundering in deep thoughts...must..swi...

casting game

I've said it before and I'll say it again...Mark Dacascos from "Brotherhood of the Wolf" would make a great Haruchai. YES! That's a perfect choice, Brinn! I'm glad you mentioned him - he was so captivating in that movie. And Joy! Tyr is a brilliant choice for Foamfollower, one which I wou...
