Fatal Revenant OOPS?

Part 2, chapter 5 of Fatal Revenant: After a few steps, she asked, still indirectly, "How many times was Covenant summoned to the Land? I mean, before he and I came here together?" "Four of which the Bloodguard had knowledge," answered Stave. "Who summoned him?" Her com...

Muttering Giants

Just finished rereading Fatal Revenant on the way to The Last Dark, and noticed that these new Giants sure seem to mutter a lot. I never noticed it with our Hero Saltheart, and also not with the Search Giants, but on 3 occasions, the new Giants are noted to be muttering various things. Muttering, to...

I sure was had, and truly bummed. Here I was, finally a member, in the middle of the reread leading up to TLD, and the site goes down. It never entered my mind what day it was. Shows what fun my life is.

Oh, if only there was a search function.... kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/search.php Yea, Mr. Blushey was showing my shame at not using the search function. Now we have a Giant rubbing another Giants nose in it. Not very Giantish behavior. I must find a fire to rid myself of the grief. Laugh...

The wisdom of Mhoram

"I am the High Lord," Mhoram affirmed simply. "I have no time for blame."
Oh, that all leaders felt that way.

What are your favorite quotes from Mhoram?

At the beginning of TPTP, from Mhoram's POV:
Deep in his aching heart, Mhoram knew that even this rock could come to an end. In all the ages of its existence, it had never been besieged. But Lord Foul was powerful enough now.
So evidently the old dead can be called up anywhere.

Old thread, but interesting what-ifs.

My question, allowing the first chrons to proceed to the end:

7) What if Foamfollower had not survived Hotash Slay?

I need to correct myself, I think. Also, I don't remember it ever mentioned that Revelstone was besieged in the past, so Foul must never have made it up that far before Kevin threw in the towel. That in itself bothers me. because it is stated that the Land cannot be lost while Revelstone stands. And...

The first day of spring is my daughters birthday, so doubly special. But kind of bittersweet this year. She just turned 22, and will graduate in May. The nest will then be empty. Transition time in the Grayhare household.

And where were the rest of the Haruchai?

A wise man, possibly a Lord or a frustrated forum member, once said, "It boots nothing to discuss plot points, for plot points are the sole providence of the author, and any attempt to wish an alternate direction of the plot inevitably, destroys the entire storyline." However wise that say...

The old wars against Foul

I'm rereading the series again, leading up to TLD, and I'm planning on taking advantage of this forum to answer or discuss some questions that pop up along the way. One that struck me in TIW has to do with the old wars against Foul. In LFB, the Quest travels along Landsdrop on the way to Mount Thund...

OK, I have to ask. What is the Tank, and why should I (or should I) be afraid of going there. All the references I've seen so far are somewhat, well, less than enthusiastic.

Welcome, fellow newbie! Apparently, you've figured out the secret to decoding TC of TC....you start with the last book, then the first, then the last again, and then the middle....3, 1, 3, 2....aahhh, that explains much. But, really, processing SRD is tough enough, but to try and process it out of ...
