My first take on this is this: unless something changes, this book won't be published. Yes, this doesn't look good at all. I have the impression that there's a mountain range to the south of Belleger that runs north-west to south-east. Some of the passes in this range run almost north/south, while others run east/west.

I'd need to read TWW again to confirm this impression, though.

That's really strange. I don't know what's going on. One weird thing that happened on the US site was that new versions of The First Chronicles were released a few months after the original releases. The new releases were largely identical in content, but were marked as "Audible Originals"...

Trying to determine how to translate a glass through another glass without breaking both? That is what is needed to translate within the same world without a flat glass (ie. two curves glasses via another world).

Well, that would be rather convoluted, given that most Imagers can't really control what location mirrors show.

(Aside: I love the rules that Donaldson created for Imagery, by the way.)

I would need to check, but I believe I also have that edition (given I was living in Australia when Gilden-Fire came out).

Edited to add: Yep. My copy is not as nice as Skyweir's though.

Does it have something to do with trying to create mirrors that show locations within the castle and then placing them in those locations such that invaders would see themselves in them?
